Maybe it's just me, but that sounds kinda nice, knowing that at least someone's doing something with China instead of it being a large, glowing crater.
Can't something just be a wasteland for once? It's hard to believe there really was an apocalypse when there's Pre-War Tech every five feet, dozens of tribes living in the desert, and silos filled with leftover nukes. Now you're telling me that after a nuclear war, the RoC government remained intact, and they had the means to conquer and administer the mainland, and they instated an emperor instead of remaining a republic, and they have a grudge against America.
I think China was handled pretty well in Fallout 2 and 3. Even though it's completely dead, the tools it created to destroy America remain. The Shi, the Point Lookout Sub and the Mama Dolce's Sleeper Cell are some of the coolest remnants of pre-war civilization. If it were up to me I'd rather not have ghoulified the Mama Dolce's but whatever.
Any mod recommendations for TTW(planning on getting Fallout 3 GOTY and using it with NV Ultimate).
Whoever said they merged the plugins with the merge plugins xedit script a few days ago, thanks! Fixed up 2 errors, one in the Mauser C96 and one in the Pancor JackHammer. I now have all the Millenia weapon mods so far released, made a .RAR for a buddy to download them all as well.

Hm, consider Mart's Mutant Mod (a FO3 mod that has a patch for TTW usage), it adds a nice variety of hostile creatures to DC (and only DC; there's a counterpart monster mod for NV but I didn't get it to work with TTW). New Vegas Bounties, Perk Every Level, the TTW accompaniment mod that nerfs your XP gain (because hoo boy are you going to need it), A World of Pain (some people don't like it, maybe a personal preference), Warzones (also of debatable quality, pros are that it livens up some parts of the map with eternal battles and greatly expands on the game's playable areas, cons are that some of the areas it adds are shit and some of the enemies it throws at you can be broken sometimes)
I feel like if I ever tried to get TTW I'd end up exceeding the mod limit by spoiling myself on both NV mods and TTW patches for Fo3 mods.
It doesn't help NV has a 150 mod limit when every other gamebryo game allows way more mods
yeah but if you use a mod manager and sort them the right way you can extend that limit
Been playing a ton of Fallout 2. My companions are Skynet and K-9, and my character is a huge nerd.
He's just this dork with zappy guns and robots walking around doing whatever. Fuck the tribe all I need is my electronic companions. Especially you Mr.YK42B Pule Rifle, you're my favorite.

I use the Restoration Project. It's essential for me becuase of the sheer amount of content it adds and all the bug fixes it has.

The guy even updated it this year and it works with the steam version of fo2.
Fr christs sake, for the longest time in Fallout 2 I didn't realize merchants generally have two or more inventories. You can go up to the shelves in the chinatown and NCR merchants, activate them and they'll generally have a completely different inventory set.
So now I finally got myself a set of Tesla armor in Fallout 2. Can just laugh off Pulse pistol and Laser fire like its coming from a squirt gun, it's so awesome having a set of metal armor that's suitable to use in the endgame. Its crap against "normal" damage but the thing beats out Advanced Power Armor in terms of energy weapon protection.

.......what?
I've been playing Fallout 2 on and off over the last two years and I never knew that
I've forgotten how to edit ESP's in the GECK. Trying to edit a leveled list, I set the plugin as active, and make some changes and then save. When I return to the GECK, the items I added to the leveled list are gone, and there's a script inside of the leveled list instead.

It's the kind of thing you learn by checking every last shelf everywhere.

I legit though that there were only 2-3 sets of Power Armor in the entirety of Fallout 2.
Turns out the chinatown merchants sell like 2+ T-51b's every few days
alright, finished lonesome road.
that was pretty neat stuff. now to go completely against the ncr and win the battle for the legion.

How's animation resources? It looks pretty cool.

just realized I haven't posted in this thread for half a year wow
Okay, when I try playing TTW, it says that MCM is not running right, yet when I reinstall MCM, DarnUI is screwed up instead(stating that it needs to be reinstalled). For the load order, I tried setting it before or after each other, and even under Project Nevada's patches. Any idea on fixing this?

Browse around the most popular and not so popular on the Nexus. Definitely get the enhanced 3rd person mod
So I'm about halfway through Dead Money I think (just entered the casino properly) and really enjoy it so far.
I remember it got a pretty bad rap when it first was released but I can't think of real complaints yet. The atmosphere is great, the story and writing are surprisingly fleshed out. Exploring around has felt creepy but also rewarding.

Remember to win big at the casino before you're done.
I found out in the Fallout 2 RP that if you were to give Sulik the Bridge Keeper robes or the Advanced Power Armor, he uses those animations because he wasn't given custom animations that would limit him to the melee and SMG attacks. That means you can arm him with a rifle such as the Sniper Rifle or Gauss Rifle. This also applies to Vic which would allow him to use the SMG animations.

That's the real treasure - not that heavy-as-fuck gold, the thousands and thousands of pre-war dollars that weigh absolutely nothing that you can prance out with.
