holy fuck nobark looks badass
I started playing fallout 1 again and gave myself 10 luck.
First step out of the vault: Irradiated.
Time to redo my character sheet.
play fallout 1/2 with 1 luck
I regret making my character have 1 int
I'm reading Nexus's "Tell us about your character" thread.
Unsurprisingly, the characters tend to be infiltrating sniper Mary-Sues with dark pasts and their father is usually Colonel Autumn.
Sometimes they're half-vampires.

[sub]Name: Johan Berg
Age: 55 when arriving in New Vegas
Combat Style: Ranged and a liberal use of explosive traps.
Specialties: Perfect aim.
Weaknesses: Unsocial and not the best at close range where his aim is less of an advantage.
Wants: A son to play baseball with.
Fears: Nothing, really.
Companions: Sporadically picks up companions but none has stuck with him for too long.
Love interest: Had one once. Long gone now, probably dead.[/sub]
Dwaaaa
I regret making my character have 1 int
i loved in fallout 1/2 where you would just grunt to speak if your int was 1/2
I prefer making alcoholics who shoot anything that looks at them wrong but runs away if what is shooting at them has a bigger gun.
Dwaaaa
i gotta admit the idea of a really creepy sniper dude who wants to fuck everything so he can get a son does sound pretty much like a really evil Fo2-era companion but i guess that's probably not what he was going for
I prefer making alcoholics who shoot anything that looks at them wrong but runs away if what is shooting at them has a bigger gun.
But if you run away from guys who have bigger guns how are you supposed to kill them to get their bigger guns?
But if you run away from guys who have bigger guns how are you supposed to kill them to get their bigger guns?
Melee, duh.

Go find the fat man and then never run away from anything

That's nice, but the Chauchatesque mag'd prolly mean a jam as soon as some mud gets in there (yeah, PPShs are damn sturdy, but still, no matter how sturdy a weapon is, leaving an exposed opening's just asking for trouble)
he sounds so bored in the video :V
Don't mean to ask dumb questions but I need a quick refresher with something. The outcasts recently turned hostile to me without me provoking them and I'd like to do the quest that has you turning tech into them. I remember something existing that if you waited a week or so factions would cease to be hostile to you but that may have been BoS exclusive due to story reasons.
Should the Outcasts stop being hostile if I wait a week or am I going to have to reload an earlier save?
Operation Anchorage had some really pretty environments for gamebryo.
Kinda makes me wish for a fallout game set in Alaska.
fallout game on/with an island would be cool.
It'd need to be 'murica related of course.

aloha, smoothskin
aloha, smoothskin
Fuck yes! A Fallout game in Hawaii with ghouls sipping radiated drinks with umbrellas and saying that? Sounds fun.
Add in those funny Hawaiian shirts for added effect.
I wouldn't mind a Fallout set in Canada, roaming around the ruins of Toronto or Ronto would cool

but fallout is all about AMERICA!!!!!
I could see it as a DLC possibly. Sunset Sarsaparilla sold well in Canada, so you'd see ton of that.

Just imagine killing things to that song.
oh hey its that part of the fallout thread cycle where we discuss "aloha smoothskin idea #402"
I still think Chicago would be a great place. The center of Jazz, Broadway, the Blues, during the time period, fits the theme stylistically and the city itself is gorgeous.
Is New York City too much to ask for?

I've always felt New York is so overdone in games.
Why doesn't Chicago ever get any love?
It's gorgeous, large and sprawling, home to just as much (if not more) culturally, sits on the edge of the Great Lakes, and it's not as crime ridden and grubby as New York. (except for the southern neighborhoods, but we dont talk about them)
i'd love georgia
Imagine hearing ghouls talk in a southern accent
10/10 would buy
Or florida, that'd be cool.
I'd rather go to either Chicago or Texas. But I don't think they'll do Texas, seeing how it would have the same western feel like New Vegas
My state is so boring...
