Having Boone as a companion while accidentally stumbling into Camp Nelson and learning about the fate of Vault 21 are probably two of the most sobering moments I've ever experienced in a game.

Hey, I need some help with Fallout 2. I'm trying to rescue Vic, but there is no option to initialize that dialouge with Metzger to buy him out, so I'm stuck here in Den doing Jet.

In order to rescue Vic peacefully, you must politely ask the door guard near his room for entry (might be a speech check). Then talk to Vic and give him the radio parts he asks you to get in klamath. Metzger still isn't happy and wants to sell Vic, so you'll have to cough up 1000 dollars to free Vic. Also, Jet addiction is permanent until a cure in Vault City is made.
I don't think I've ever seen anyone talk about these mods, they are some of my favourites and I highly recomend them

Yeah older saves work fine.
What happened was I was exploring and entered a room that a mod added (dc interiors). From then on everybody had a wonky right leg. I assumed that maybe the room was glitched and that was the reason, but after I left and went out to the wasteland it persisted. I've used this mod on like every playthrough and never had this problem before.
