Oh, thats why it didn't work.
I'm considering reinstalling Fallout 3.
Any good mod packs or good overhauls or whatever?
Mainly harder game, shitloads of weapons and armour, and a more populated wasteland (in the sense of more travelling survivors and all that)

I've already used FWE and I'm looking for something else so yeah
This mod that gives the unique armors unique appearances is probably one of my most favourite FO3 mods.
Plus it has the most lore-friendliest combat armor variants I've seen.
Does anyone have a good mod so that when you go from hip to ironsights, your gun just doesn't magically teleport in to your eye?
I am pretty sure there aren't any mods like that.

The hookers also use AIMspeak.
I want to buy Fallout 3 during a Steam sale but then I remember that unless there are good mods that aren't on New Vegas, I'll never play it.

Frank Miller must be a really big Fallout fan.

there isn't even a baby model you're just a really little man I'm crying
Didn't we make it against the thread rules for you to talk about FO3 at one point? :v:
Still is last time I checked.
heh.
Old World Blues is such a goldmine

Interesting idea, but watching you add stimpaks every 10 seconds just ruins it.

Equipping only uses the ones I already had I think

Oh, my apologizes I misread it as additem, not equipitem.
"I have 2 pairs of goggles so I can put my goggles over my goggles over my eyeglasses!"
I'll look into those. Do I have to restart for them to take effect, or do they work with a current save?
You have to make a new save, it's the only way you can be certain to have the changes actually take effect. There's waitng 3 days with the wait command inside of somewhere such as a gas station along the highway, since those usually aren't changed. Also those require NVSE, except for MMUE, which is strictly bugfixes.
Does anyone know any good weapon retexture mods for NV? I would use Millenias but it fiddles around with the original meshes a bit and can cause some weapons from other mods to screw up.

I remember someone posted of their character who had 3 pairs of goggles.
I personally think that a combination of EVE, Project Nevada and MMUE make for a near perfect vanilla game. I'd get MMUE anyways just for the bugfixes, i'd call it a must-need mod. MMUE meaning "Mission Mojave: Ultimate Edition" and EVE being "Essential Visual Enhancements".
Did they fix the NPCs throwing up all the time instead of their proper animations?

That reminds me of the time that I encountered that band of wastelanders that tell you the location of Oasis before attacking you, except in that case they all used the exact same character model so it was like getting attacked by a band of roving quintuplets.

Apocalypse Armory. Mart's Mutant Mod, and Better Living Through Chems are the major mods I use, they're all rather lore-friendly and incredibly fun. It's so great to assault a Raider stronghold with like 50+ raiders inside that are all armed with different guns. I once raided the Mall and got up to 300 Super Mutant kills.
Also if anyone needs an AA link

Also, The Pitt is total weaksauce. It's hyped up to be really hard and difficult and then you end up popping Trogs with just a dinky .32 pistol. Not only that but you get an Assault Rifle five minutes into the steelyard with 100+ rounds.
It has a really great atmosphere, The Pitt, but it's not Fallout. It's way more like say, Mad Max or Tank Girl than Fallout.
[editline]14th July 2013[/editline]
Also, Operation Anchorage is literally Call of Duty level gameplay. Not RPG whatsoever.
[editline]14th July 2013[/editline]
I'd rather drink drain-o than ever play Mothership Zeta through again.
I still don't get if I finished the pitt. Does it end after you [sp]decide to eat or not eat the baby? I'm sure you can get that shit some toys too, but eating it is the best option really.[/sp] If so, it's hella short (or my perception of time is wrong).

Also, fucking GECK. Thanks Bethesda
