So New Vegas is a daily deal, and Fallout 1 and 2 haven't gone down further. Does this mean that they are as low as they're gonna go?
Fallout 1 and 2 are not included in the Franchise sale.
Probably because of the different publishers of those 2.
They might go lower, so you better off waiting.
EDIT: Just bought New Vegas edition, had the normal one on the Xbox but modding is always nice.
Probably going to buy F3 later for the tale of the 2 wastelands.
Hey guys, managed to install New Vegas in English....now I have another problem. I dont recall the player character "sliding" a little bit after stopping running. It kinda put me off as it seems the floor was ice.
just got new vegas ultimate, what are some essential mods that i should get for it?
Project Nevada and AWOP.

The Jetpack and XRE - Cars are the ultimate solutions to transportation...and, in the former's cases, the terrible mapping in some places.
With Fallout 3 GOTY at 5 euro I was wondering what mods would be incompatible with TTW and should I bother since the disc copy crashed and then broke for reinstalling. Does TTW actually stabilise FO3? Is there any point since it's been what seems like forever in alpha stages?
How many gameplay hours could I get out of all the NV DLCs? I've played the base game (with mods) up and down but never the dlc.
How well does FO3 actually work on Windows 7? Storepage says it's not optimized.
For windows 7 you would have to make some adjustments to the .ini and maybe compatible mode.
Anyone else with TTW having some pretty major issues with The Pitt? I wandered in there and found the meshes/textures for the steelyard area to be royally fucked up. Like not even there fucked up.

I'm on Windows 7 and have no issues with it at all. I never had to change any settings of anything either.
Well, apart from the normal issues playing Fallout 3 comes with.
Bought all the FONV DLC, debating whether to buy FO3 complete. I've played quite a bit of FO3 but none of the dlc.
From what I've understood, it doesn't mean much.
If you're even slightly interested in playing FO3 in FNV's engine get it.
I suggest not playing Mothership Zeta. It's very boring and gives you pretty op guns.
Just bought the Ultimate Edition. I can play on ultra no problem but I get very jerky camera and character movement. Almost like my character is rubber banding. Any idea what would cause this

Can be summed up as "can not follow simple directions"
[editline]14th July 2013[/editline]
I'm going to make this very clear to all of my PnP friends. Do not try to read any sarcasm or anger or annoyance in this, because there is none. There is nothing but a simple explanation.
When I say to roll something, you roll it. Don't go "I have 100 skill why should I roll." Just roll.
When I say it is your turn, you go. In addition, if you are going away from your computer for longer than 30 seconds, say so.
When you declare your action, and it involves a roll, if there is no opposition to the action of the roll, don't wait for me to tell you to roll. Just do it. Just as well, when you actually hit something with your "hit chance" roll, don't wait for me to tell you to roll for damage. Just do it.
This has been a friendly public service announcement from a slightly peeved GM. Thank you for your time.

Download stutter remover and NVSE to run it
Holy fuck, Fallout 3 freezes every time I play and the only mod I have is fellout. I have New Vegas loaded with mods but it doesn't freeze nearly as much.

I had the same problem, freezing at random and when entering certain buildings
Open up the fallout.ini file in: My Documents\My Games\Fallout3
Find the line:
bUseThreadedAI=0
change it to:
bUseThreadedAI=1
Add another line after it and insert:
iNumHWThreads=2
This will limit the game to 2 cores and prevent the engine bug from causing the game to freeze.
*If the game still crashes write this iNumHWThreads=1
Fixed it perfectly
XRE - Cars are the ultimate solutions to transportation...and, in the former's cases, the terrible mapping in some places.
I dunno about you, but I couldn't drive the cars without bouncing around like Angelina Jolie's diseased boobs.
Sometimes driving over a rock was enough to fling me across Mojave.

Get it, the DLC is good for at least 20-25 hours and you can always install tale of 2 wastelands.

Done.
Also, does anyone know of a program that merges leveled lists in Fallout New Vegas since I have several mods installed that alter leveled lists and I want to make sure that everything shows up.
Okay I bought fallout new vegas for PC, what mods to get.

Check the OP.
How did they even manage to make the gunplay so terrible?
Normally in games refire time is static, but in FO3/NV for some inexplicable reason rate of fire seems to be somewhat loosely related to how you pull the trigger.
And everyone moves without inertia, terrible choice for any game that has firefighting in it.

I agree with you, but there are people in here with Stockholm syndrome who think that the horrible clunky controls and gunplay are a good thing.

I always seem to get delayed controls whenever I play NV.
