I agree with you, but there are people in here with Stockholm syndrome who think that the horrible clunky controls and gunplay are a good thing.
I don't really get that. The guns in FO3/NV act more like automatic/semi-automatic bows than guns, seeing as it takes a second of the gun to actually fire and tapping the trigger doesn't get you a quick "pop, pop, pop" but instead a "pop... pop... pop..." The guns just feel wrong. Imagine a Fallout game with Metro Last Light's shooting.
I am wonder if that is just gamebryo or beth's shitty coding.
I am wonder if that is just gamebryo or beth's shitty coding.
Both.
So I'm playing the first Fallout, and I just thought up a neat catch phrase in reference to combat (deathclaws especially) "Aim for the eyes, or say your goodbyes."
My only problem with VATS is that there's no point not just aiming for the head.
My only problem with VATS is that there's no point not just aiming for the head.
Unless it's a deathclaw. Then you go for the legs, and hit the head after. In 3 and NV anyway. The classic games you just shoot it in the face until it dies.
I got 2 problems ATM. First is a minor issue but annoying, everytime I exit the game it 'crashes' Second one is a very annoying sliding bug that basically makes me make 1 step more. Wondering if anyone had these issues and/or has a solution for them.
Resident Evil 4 had the best limb damage thingy. [editline]15th July 2013[/editline]
I got 2 problems ATM.
How many gameplay hours could I get out of all the NV DLCs? I've played the base game (with mods) up and down but never the dlc. How well does FO3 actually work on Windows 7? Storepage says it's not optimized.
40 hours if you actually bother to play them. They're pretty substantial.

Ok now instead of crashing randomly I crash when I enter a building.
Help, trying to install TTW and I get this It says "File cannot be found" (Referring to Fallout - Misc.bsa. I have both F3 and NV on Steam and I updated dotnet and Visual studio.
never try to do anything as a baby never

It's pretty much impossible to properly roleplay The Lady in Fallout 3 :(
Make sure its not "Fallout Misc.bsa" or something like that
It was just me being a stupid fuck, I somehow didn't extract the "resources" folder along with TTW (Must've accidentally deselected it in winrar) Finished installing in 30 minutes, didn't people say this takes like 8 hours?
My only problem with VATS is that there's no point to using it at all.
The only reason I've found in NV to use VATS is because you want a badass view and/or are in a bit of a lazy mood. Even with how clunky and meh the shooting is in first person it still flows much better.
The only reason why I use VATS is to find any enemies in small rooms. Outdoors I let ED-E or Cass find the enemies for me.
Any good fallout new vegas mods? reinstalled and I have no fucking clue which one's are good, I have every DLC.
Any good fallout new vegas mods? reinstalled and I have no fucking clue which one's are good, I have every DLC.
OP has a list of recommend mods. Does The Armoury work with Project Nevada?
never try to do anything as a baby never
Try a couple things: Firstly, try giving yourself a Pip Boy (you would have gotten one legitimately in the Vault, don't worry about that):
player.additem 15038 1 player.equipitem 15038
Failing that, this should print out your inventory:
player.showinventory
And you can just use equipitem to use most anything.

fallout 3 for pc is cursed everytime i fix a glitch, three more problems come up. I thought "hey I'll just use tale of two wastelands" but NOPE that fucks my fast travel.
What's a good weaponry mod for FO3? Something big and expansive like The Armory for FONV.
I used to use 20th Century Weapons back in the day. Good luck finding it though.
What's a good weaponry mod for FO3? Something big and expansive like The Armory for FONV.
Apocalypse armory.
