I can never get FWE to work. Used FOMM, tried NMM, always follow the instructions in their FAQ but it always crashes on start-up. [editline]16th July 2013[/editline] Maybe that's something I'll try later.
Also use BOSS to sort your load order and then make a merged patch with FO3Edit
I think VATS is pretty important for close combat, since enemies move fast and VATS hit a target no matter how fast it's moving relative to the field of view.
I use VATS a lot in close quarters. It lets you get multiple headshots before enemies can react. Like when you encounter Vulpes you can kill 3 legionaries before they react and a fourth before they can equip and aim their weapons. Makes the encounter much more managable if you choose to attack them.
My faction reputation with everyone but goodsprings and novac has been removed. How does that even happen?
Are you wearing faction armor?
Oh hm I guess I am. How did I possibly forget that? Is there a faction neutral power armor in NV?
No. Although there are a lot of mods that add faction neutral power armor.
One of my favorite things about the Honest Hearts DLC was the ranger armor you could get which wasn't NCR faction armor.
No. Although there are a lot of mods that add faction neutral power armor.
The Remnants Power Armour is faction neutral.
so i figured out how to get new vegas to be stable. ...i had to put it into high detail, instead of ultra. manly tears were had.
so i figured out how to get new vegas to be stable. ...i had to put it into high detail, instead of ultra. manly tears were had.
You do realize there's an advanced menu for graphics settings, right? You can go in there and activate things that you think are needed, what it sounds to me is that you're running out of RAM with the max visual distance that ultra has, so you could tone that down a bit and keep everything else.
No. Although there are a lot of mods that add faction neutral power armor.
I thought you can get some neutral T51-B? And maybe even some T45-D, but I'm not so sure.
what in the fuck I fixed my Fallout 3 and decided that I wanted to play New Vegas. It crashes on fast travel. How the FUCK does that happen? I didn't touch my New Vegas folder.
what in the fuck I fixed my Fallout 3 and decided that I wanted to play New Vegas. It crashes on fast travel. How the FUCK does that happen? I didn't touch my New Vegas folder.
the game is forcing you to play in ultra hard mode embrace the challenge
Note for self: Never mix IWS and Better New Vegas together. Last time I did so, I was greeted by like 20 escaped convicts glued to each other. I was instantly shredded into pieces. Literally. Only my torso and leg remained after that.
Oh hm I guess I am. How did I possibly forget that? Is there a faction neutral power armor in NV?
there are mods that let you make them neutral, with crafting of course. they even show a nice difference in the armor's looks to make you less affiliated with the faction.
One of my favorite things about the Honest Hearts DLC was the ranger armor you could get which wasn't NCR faction armor.
My favorite part about that DLC was Joshua Graham, he was such a cool guy to talk to
My favorite part was that guy in the vault suit at the beginning.
My favorite part was that guy in the vault suit at the beginning.
Hey there little lady!
Guys, mods related to reloading ammo for new vegas? After fixing up ED-E and getting to level 20...I do REALLY want to manufacture some .308 AP rounds. JSP rounds are kinda "meh". EDIT: Man, the hunting shotgun firing sound is 100% badass. Reminds me of the Syphon Filter one.
I thought you can get some neutral T51-B? And maybe even some T45-D, but I'm not so sure.
There is some factoinless T-51b. It can be found in the brotherhood safehouse. A few places sell factionless T45-D. The remnants armour is also factionless, and if you have lonesome road, the scorched sierra armour is factionless as well.
I thought you can get some neutral T51-B? And maybe even some T45-D, but I'm not so sure.
Grated khans sell em.
My favorite part about that DLC was Joshua Graham, he was such a cool guy to talk to
shame the rest of honest hearts sucked balls
The Remnants Power Armour is faction neutral.
So is the usual T-45d and T-51b armors you can get in the brotherhood armory. Any without "brotherhood" in the name are fine. I just wish 12 ga. ammo wasn't so hard to come by. And that they could be loaded with something kickier than scrap metal. It's kind of in the awkward spot in which magnum shots one-shot all normal enemies, but the whole extended tube isn't enough to stop tougher monsters like tunnelers or deathclaws.
Man, how do I start Broken Steel in FO3? I read somewhere it skips the ending cutscene when you start the Purifier, but it doesn't happen while I do have BS installed.
I'd kinda like to see clothing have a reputation system also. It's just odd how you can be completely covered in armor when you do things yet they always know who it actually is. Even with basic outfits, it would be kinda funny to watch people get slaughtered. People start changing clothes, either cause they don't wanna look like that person or do because they're their hero.
Man, how do I start Broken Steel in FO3? The rock-it launcher is a cool toy with an interesting gimmick but I really don't see myself using it as a proper weapon... it's not nearly as fun or straightforward as, say, HL2's gravitygun. Also, does FO3 instantly give you health from most items, as opposed to the "x health per second" most items in New Vegas have, or is that just my difficulty setting?

Giving health over time was something FNV added iirc
