http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/51087/ Released the G3/SG1. E:/ Lizzrd: I'm not really creative enough to make the FO1/2 weapons based on small sprites :/
I think you might've... accidentally... kept your safety on :v: And also there are a lot of other references other than the small sprites. For example, the Classic Fallout Weapons pack already has most of them but they're really low res and not very well done, but you could use those as a reference. Not to mention a lot of the older Fallout weapons are either exactly the same as or slightly different to their real world counterparts so those could always be referenced as well.
A Colt 6520 that isn't a 1911 with a downsized pump from a shotgun would be neat.
I think you might've... accidentally... kept your safety on :v:
Not an accident, there's a big ass shadow under the safety switch so I can't change it :c
Come on man, give it a whirl. No offense, but we are practically swimming in modern or sub-modern weapons right now, even if the texture work isn't as good as yours. Just try to see what you come up with and fi it is shit, well, at least you tried.
All the stuff I'm doing at the moment is basically with STALKER in mind so I can't really even do Fallout-specific stuff (well, I could, but I like halving effort)
You could always do a Bozar, considering it was supposed to be in shadow of chernobyl. [editline]25th July 2013[/editline] Or hell, gauss rifle? Fallout gauss rifle looks a lot better than the stalker one :S
All the stuff I'm doing at the moment is basically with STALKER in mind so I can't really even do Fallout-specific stuff (well, I could, but I like halving effort)
It doesn't have to be Fallout specific, I'd imagine a lot of the weapons from the older Fallouts would fit right in with STALKER.
Oh yeah, the wattz 2000 laser rifle would fit right in, considering they've got batteries that can power a gauss gun a laser rifle shouldn't be an issue.
The oddest thing about the Achorage Sim is that the generic soldiers can be randomly women when women in the US couldn't be frontline soldiers until a year ago (or something like that, it ain't my country).
Considering it's not actually the 1950's but actually 100 years or so into the future it probably makes sense that both genders were more on an equal footing in terms of social progress. There were definitely female participants in the Anchorage Reclamation, though. The female doctor at the main camp was based on an actual doctor in the war who was rather critical of General Chase and his decision to hand out psycho to his troops to increase their combat efficiency.
Racism issues in Fallout don't really take the form of our traditional notions on the matter - Fallout is about the post-apocalypse, not the pre-apocalypse. It's obvious there's no widespread prejudice about blacks or anything (Caravan leaders, BoS scientists, sheriffs), but instead of Jim Crow laws we have civilized ghouls being treated like animals or immense distrust of tribals. It's clear that before the war there was some pretty heavy antagonism towards the Chinese, but that probably has more to do with them being a belligerent communist nation than anything else.
Still I just think that it was something odd to leave out that they should have addressed at some point in the series that they never did probably out of fear of censorship or something.

Just got Jury Rigging, economy officially broken forever more.
Just got Jury Rigging, economy officially broken forever more.
jury rigging is the schroedinger's cat of perks, in that it's at once boring and amazing
http://www.livestream.com/totalwaraddict Streaming New Vegas semi heavily modded. Project Nevada and a realism mod. [editline]25th July 2013[/editline] Woo, instant crashing.
Is there anyway to get Arcade back as a companion? I told him that I didn't want him to get hurt at the Dam so I had him not to, but now I can't get him back as a companion. I already did the battle and have the continue after ending mod. [editline]25th July 2013[/editline] oh look there's a mod for that too. Nevermind.
I got the Fallout collection during the summer sale, and I was wondering is there were any real necessary mods I should get for it? Er... for the original Fallout I mean, I'm not on Tactics or 2 yet :v:

What level should I be before I start the DLC missions? I'm only level 7 at the moment.
20 if you want to go the proper route of Dead Money - Honest Hearts - OWB - Lonesome Road
What's the proper order for Fallout 3 DLC? And the level I should start it at, of course.
20 if you want to go the proper route of Dead Money - Honest Hearts - OWB - Lonesome Road
Alright, and which quest is Dead Money? I lost track of that after they were first shown to me via popup message. [editline]25th July 2013[/editline]
What's the proper order for Fallout 3 DLC? And the level I should start it at, of course.
I remember being able to do Operation: Anchorage at a fairly low level. However you should probably do it later on, because it gives you stuff that you really shouldn't have early in the game. The Pitt is something you can do pretty much whenever. I'd recommend maybe level 10 or above. Broken Steel comes after the main quest, which is self explanatory. Point Lookout is very high level, so do that after everything else. I never played Mothership Zeta, so I don't know what to say about that.
Don't play Anchorage first unless you want to have a power armor that can't be damaged early on. And Sierra Madre, the abandoned BOS bunker, is Dead Money.
Don't play Anchorage first unless you want to have a power armor that can't be damaged early on. And Sierra Madre, the abandoned BOS bunker, is Dead Money.
You don't have to take the armor.
You don't have to take the armor.
But I can't just not take it.
It felt a little refreshing murdering Benny this time around; got Knock Knock and Huey Lewis playing in the background.
But I can't just not take it.
Do what I do with basically everything that looks marginally interesting: Take it, store it in a spare chest at your house, and then completely forget about it until 10 levels later when you're looking for that spare stack of nuka-grenades you were saving.
20 if you want to go the proper route of Dead Money - Honest Hearts - OWB - Lonesome Road
Honestly, 20 is a bare minimum. I struggled with Dead Money on some parts at level 30. But maybe I just suck.
Nah, DM is just hard as fuck.
I've never really had a problem with Dead Money's difficulty tbh.
