Is the nexus fucking up for anybody else? I'm on the New Vegas one and i've been trying to download JIPS Selective fire for about 30 minutes, i keep getting that the file doesn't exist.
Nexus has been loading slowly because of ddos attacks, not sure if that affects files as well.
I wish Fallout had Arma-esque squad commands.
I wish there was a new Fallout that allowed for group command like Tactics did.
I hate the Nexus. I hope the next Fallout has Workshop.
I keep hearing that Lonesome Road isn't very good. Any truth to that?
Who the fuck said that?!
Let me at 'em, I swear on my shit they'll regret it

Gophervids, that one popular mod making LPer.
Am I alone in the sense that I think Van Buren's plot is fucking stupid.
The whole BOMB -001 and Quarantine facility thing was just to confusing for its own good. Why do we need the damned prison to launch the bombs? Surely a genius scientist with such an evil sound name as Victor Presper can hack into BOMB -001 and just use it instead.
As if fucking Presper had an decent motives. He was basically the Enclave again, trying to wipe out mutants and shit "for the greater good". We have been there and done that.
And what is with the odd fascination with Mormons? They even showed up a little in Honest Hearts. I don't hate Mormons or anything, but their specific inclusions in Van Buren were strikingly odd and out of place (though Daniel and Graham being in honest Hearts at least made some sense)
Basically, I think it sounded stupid. Though the Fallout 3 we got doesn't have a much better plot, but at least it isn't a big, confusing mess. It was easy and simple, which was likely done on purpose since Fallout 3 was meant to be an introduction into a new Fallout series and thus would attract lots of people who never heard of Fallout before it (like me)

Same for The Lady, but I've never used it yet. No-one seems 'worthy'.
I hate the Nexus. I hope the next Fallout has Workshop.
I'd rather browse through some dumb shit and find a good mod here and there than sift through the horribly laid out workshop that is guaranteed to have less mods than the nexus.
Or I can just let someone else sift through the shit for me and get mods people recommend to me.

I actually think it would be cool if religion played a bigger part in the fallout universe. Not anything major but it would be interesting to have another little layer of struggle on to the wasteland. I mean, if America stayed with the perfect-family boyscouts and apple pie 1950s ideals, I'm sure Religion would have carried it's way to the vaults, and out to the wasteland. Would bandits be religious? They could have their own barbaric religions, maybe some Aztec human sacrifices shit. Bandits are kind of boring now anyway.

Nah
After all the shit that happens in the Fallout universe I'm surprised there is any religion at all
followers of apocalypse, your tribe in fallout 2 with the ancestor worship like vault dweller cult, bright brotherhood. there's traces of different philosophies in the games but the writers just don't explore religion much.

After all the shit that happens in the Fallout universe, it's pretty much certain that shitloads of cults and faiths would form if it was irl.

That actually looks pretty good, I could probably make these the default faces, I'm just not sure how they'll play with the already existing faces.

Dinner is served.
I miss being able to massacre everybody in the casino's
I killed them all ages ago and now there's hardly anybody on the strip
I thought that was great for New Vegas that no-one was essential, so you had actual consequences if you gunned down an area and failed a quest. Through because of the Yes Man quest you couldn't fail the game.
Yes Man was kind of Essential, but had a ingame reason, he just downloads himself to a new body somewhere. Where are all those bodies stored?
so i'm using this weapon (http://www.gamemodding.net/en/fallout-nv/fallout-nv-weapons/23769-mgs3-naked-snake-custom-m1911.html) that allows for mods but changes the model to the default .45 when equipped. would someone have a guide that would be able to walk me through fixing it to be the normal gun/ slap something together quick?

Probably somewhere in the Lucky 38.

Yeah, I just figured the lack of religion was due to the radiation, scarcity of food and water, vast armies of mutants that make walking from place to place a damn near suicide mission, and the roving gangs of sadistic raider junkies.
Who could even believe in a benevolent God after that?

also depending on how regressive the area you're born in is you might not even be familiar with the concept of religion, given the amount of knowledge lost to tribals and such
I made it my goal to complete the White Glove society quest in a calm, stealthy manner with as little violence as I could get away with.

I probably should have seen this coming.
white glove society is such an awesome quest, fuck
gotta replay NV sometime, it's not as if it's annoying to get back into either since they don't keep you in a tutorial level for 2 hours like bethesda do
i like the town in fallout 3 with the cannibals as well.
[editline]27th July 2013[/editline]
are there any mods in fallout to make it so the outside of a house matches the inside or something?
its annoying to see boarded up windows inside but on the outside its perfectly fine ugh

The evil plans of Father Cornstock and his corn-worshiping desires to cleanse the sodom below are stopped. The party evacuates the town of Skyland before being detected, while being given a handy little holodisk with supr sekrit Commonwealth tech cache locations on it. They pass through a group of friendly dakka-lovin' muties and back to their Highwayman. While traveling they encounter the friendly neighborhood ork Gorgutz. After some trading, they decline his offer for a race, as he speeds off on his frankenorkdakkamakerwarwagon vehicle with 17 fire-spewing mufflers. They then encounter a tank with drills for treads - The Shagohad. An eyepatch-wearing, bandana-displaying man named Snake appears, and seems to have some history with the party's own Renaldo Ocelot. Ocelot and Snake get into a heated fistfight while the other party members neutralize Volgin and his Shagohad.
Snake is victorious in the battle. Ocelot is dead.
Then, a strange tune is heard being sung. A strange, and mysteriously catchy tune...
"CMON AND SLAM, AND WELCOME TO THE JAM"
And in walks a man bouncing a ball. End session.
The desk in Victor's Shack is so full the menu lags. I need a better place to store my stuff...
Can someone help me I'm looking for a fallout New vegas mod. It was on the nexus. It basically allowed you to specialize in one weapon allowing it to gain more criticals/damage eg.
Here it is, Signature Weapons.
