Saying "because a pro did it" sounds like you're implying it's bad and/or people are just blindly following a pro. I don't even know who started blue ez. AFAIK It was just a korean build that started getting picked up.

Then regular players do it because a pro did it. This trend is especially evident when new FOTMs appear and when unorthodox builds are used in tournaments (AD Kennen)

He doesn't burst any higher. AP Ezreal has an obscene burst but considering you're not getting a lot of AD a BT+IE would burst a lot harder. That being said i still hate the blue Ezreal build.

I bought Thresh under the impression that it will literally pull them back, like Blitz' Grab or Pudge's Hook. No wonder I didn't think it was working.

Me and a friend were talking about blue ez and all of the people trying it just because a pro did it. Then he brought up using it on corki or something. I thought it was an idea that sounded kinda fun, even if its not the most optimal build. Would it work at all or what?

Is AP Thresh viable?

Seeing as how his mana costs are through the roof, so if it's any "blue item" you would build on him that would be it. Only problem would be stacking it as fast as someone like Ezreal
