Yeah. Until he gets chain CC'd and falls over and dies. At least renekton has some residual damage. Then again renekton falls off so hard it hurts. He should still win in lane because with a 100 fury he can completely bully tryndamere out of CS.
As I said, someone like Shen perhaps. Counter split pushing with split pushing with a built in shield and teleport. You're going to have a fair bit of armor as well just from your core build so that helps too.

Syndra's fun but she's probably one of the hardest champs in the game to learn. everything except your ult is a skillshot, so you can become really useless really quickly if you're bad. then again, her utility is fantastic if you're good and being able to toss minions around creates some fun mindgames.
varus is scary. his true damage or whatever it is is really painful and his ult's super nice too. he's easier to learn than syndra but he lacks mobility in general so he's also kind of a hard champ to learn.

that's why you play fights smart, if you go in with anyone like an idiot you'll get crushed by cc
and I've played the match up a fair bit, it's very very even, whoever fucks up loses

I finally worked up the nerve to do ranked after never touching it for season 1 and 2.
I managed to get to gold in 3 days playing nothing but support.

Man. Ever had that one game where you're finally doing great as a champ you've been playing and it turns out the enemy Fizz is also doing great so at about 40 minutes in, you can't do anything without him 2-shotting you because your team likes to not peel for you? I just did. and it sucked.

Fizz is one of those champions I really, really hate to play against. When I'm playing with my friends and we're all on VOIP, I always joke about going afk if I have to lane against Fizz and I'm pretty sure that one day I'm actually going to do it. I just hate him so much.

You just have to play safely against him until you can get a gank from your jungler.
Fizz is really easy to shut down at early levels.
I think I'm gonna swap up my top lineup. What I was thinking was, Singed (vs weak tops, ie can't handle push), Malphite (vs ad heavy), Rumble (general strength), Cho (sustain top, counter), Darius (situational counter). Thoughts, opinions? This is for plat-diamond.
