AD or Armour Pen, I've been trying Armour Pen and they're effective on certain carries, but maybe I'm just playing against bad players and it's somehow working in my favour. AD is better for last hitting, ARPen doesn't really matter against minions, it's more for the enemy ADC.
So, either I'm starting to get really good, or I just keep getting a slew of really bad players. Ever since I dropped to Bronze II from I, I've been pretty much playing solo top as much as I can, while taking other positions in between when no one will fill them. I rose from bronze II to silver V now and still going. The surprising thing is everyone I go against just sucks. It's like they picked the worst player on their team and put them in a lane against me. I can't figure it out. 0_o

If you blame your team constantly you're not.
Also that build is screaming for a PD. Do yourself a favour and build it after your IE. It gives you an insane amount of damage.

From what I saw on the PBE he came across as really sort of... floppy and weak, so hopefully this helps put him into a better spot.

Team just went dumb? Didn't know how to group up or take objectives? All you can really do is ping and try taking the reigns, but sometimes those games happen. May not have done anything wrong at all.

Only good late game melee champs I can think of are Jax, Nasus and Jayce(somewhat).
And AD casters that burst people are also good late game e.g. Zed, Talon, Kha because you build them squishy as shit.
You might argue that Jayce is an AD caster but I think he's more DPS carry(borderline ADC) with a poke.
Talon is shit now sadly
