I have improved over the last couple of weeks, I've had more penta chances than ever, I trust my teammates too much and save my abilities and end up with a quadra instead. I've gone through Bronze 2 super fast. Gragas who sucked, took one of the kills before my attack hit Riven.

Yes, and here is where you and most other people undervalue this heavily. This will determine if you hit your skillshot or not about almost always. A fraction of a second is huge in this kind of game, and don't get me started on actual combos where you'll save several seconds even.

2-3 is an interesting number. But still if the belief of an individual can be wrong then the belief held by multiple people can also be wrong, that is slightly out of context but a majority argument doesn't work here. I brought up the pro player argument because I am making the assumption that they had experience and they were good at the game. I don't dismiss the fact that the majority of pro players use smartcast. You are claiming as fact that smartcasting skill shots is better then non-smartcasting, but simply 1 example such as Froggen, provided that you think he is experienced shows that it is possible to be extremely good at this game while non-smartcasting can be used as a counter example which turns the fact into a preference, a seemingly large preference to smartcasting, but a preference nethertheless. If it claims to save seconds in some situations then I assume you can think of an example as I have never heard something like that before. You claim to have to put it bluntly, but if you read your previous posts you don't say at all why it is better, but simply better.

That's not what I said. I said that Katsuie is (one) of the only people (in this thread) that can actually comment on whether or not the speed offered by quick casting is necessary in high level play. This is as a result of Katsuie being Diamond 1, whereas most other people in this thread are silver and bronze.
