I think karthus really sealed the wins here. Being able to shred J4 and Zac the second game stopped the pressure on Doublelift and that really let him just destroy from the back.
While Asian teams have in depth strategies, countless hours of practice and mastery of their champions
NA just bans what they can't play against and goes with the flow :v:

ClearLove's hecarim was a massive factor though especially that fight at mid his ult was timed so they would terror onto the defile.
I agree though, I just loved the way how he kept poking behind walls and when the fight starts he initiated after it was clear for clean up. Perfect assassin play.

He got nerfed recently, but he wasn't nerfed into the ground. I still think he's alright, although others might say otherwise.
