Rumble just got nerfed recently and Zac was played by NA during their match against China yet they still lost. I don't think you know what you're talking about.

his hook requires a lot of skill and flay is balanced but the range of his lantern is ridiculous
NA played a lot more smoothly this game, although the slight hiccup before minion spawn seemed to throw them off. Well played.
I'm not sure Xpecial can play Thresh, that's the thing. Again, the KR Allstar teams is just godlike while the NA lineup is debatable. I think SV plays carry junglers so Naut wasn't really in his element. He made a lot of sloppy ganks.

Thresh > Blitz
The fact that the hook doesn't drag the enemy in all the way is a massive advantage as it lets you pick your fights. It also has a long stun so there's way more time to react to it and jump on the hooked player (especially when you have Zac).
Not to mention he has hella utility, he stuns, knocks back, slows, saves and shields.

It still would of had round about the same results, Madlife just needs to grab/hook someone. I already posted that Madlife Blitz video a few pages back.
From what I've seen, the biggest problems NA faces against are Thresh and Rumble in particular. They should've focused on those two as bans.

You don't get to do sneaky Barons and pull teammates across walls with Blitz, nor can you shield them or peel as effectively.
KR's plan was just to catch people, not engage them (and if they got engaged on they would wreck with their comp)
Looks like Phreak agrees there's other bans that are more important than Thresh.

The thing is that NA had first pick and they could have first picked Thresh (and Xpecial can play him), but I think they just went for comfort picks instead.
