I'm no GP expert but your build is kinda weird. You already had Vi for your team's necessary tankiness so you should've probably built more damage.

You don't need wit's end since you shouldn't be AA that much to make it worth it. Same argument for Frozen Mallet.
If you wanna Gangplank right, make sure you're using GP5 quints.

I added you! I'm not even ranked but I'm a level 30 and would like to think I play decently. Lately I've been trying to relearn jungle/get Ezreal down since I suck balls with him and I usually play ADC.

Despite all the stuff around Ezreal, I really want to buy him and have him as one of my go-to ADC's. Maybe I'll hold off till Draven is f2p for a week before I decide; that point I would have played all the ADC's.

Odd. Someone suggested me I should use lolpro.com to get item builds and whatnot, so I went on one for Gangplank on Top lane, and these items were there, so I went with it. If you guys know anything better, could you let me know? Cause honest to god, I hate making myself look stupid.

I see Gangplank as more of a poke champion with his q. So Infinity edge and crit chance are pretty essential to him. Then he has a good movement speed buff on his e so he can get a few auto attacks in pretty safely when he has another movement speed item. Like that, sustained AA damage isn't his strong suit so Wit's End doesn't stack up as much. And I misread Frozen Mallet, I always confuse it with the other icy effects. The 100% slow chance along with the tanky-ness does well.
On hit effects are good too since his q triggers it.
GP is a ton of fun. He just gets beat out by a majority of other champs. Can still hold his own very well top though, and his ult is always useful. There are definitely worse picks.
