goodbye 200 liters energy drink #wrekt
goodbye 200 liters energy drink #wrekt
I just wished our enemies weren't so desperate as to make a fucking ARAM smurf just for this tournament.
on that note holy shit give us more than 6 bans
Riot said that they don't want to give more than 6 bans because of full team counter bans or something like that. They said that half a year ago. Not sure what they mean by that. [editline]2nd June 2013[/editline] And I guess that only works for tournaments and 5v5 ranked.
I just wished our enemies weren't so desperate as to make a fucking ARAM smurf just for this tournament.
Haha that's so sad. What a waste of time just for a chance of getting what, 100$ each?

Sure you can, why not. All in AOE engage? Yeah! If you add more bans it takes away from that and you actually will have to work around them. Riot doesn't want that for some reason. There's just too many champions for just 3 bans per team.
league hell exists if you say it doesn't you're just dumb over a long period of time you can get promoted but that's just the fucking thing if a random number generator gives you 55% to win and 45% to lose it can still generate a loss many times in a row. You can still get genuine shitlords many games in a row. just so frustrating
As someone who frequently plays with all tiers(because some friends are plat while others silver or gold), I can confirm that you don't know shit and that elo works fine. Farming is the most obvious example. Every time a plat or diamond has at least 50 more farm than me while silvers have 50 farm less. Let's not forget about better positioning, better calls(who knows how many times people don't realize they can get drag or baron), better focus, better warding, better engaging, better countering, better building, better everything. "elo hell" is the dumbest shit ever.
Elo Hell is every Elo.
chalice / archangels try actually thinking

This comment was a waste of space in this thread. Just insulting somebody without actually posting anything capable of being discussed is just shitposting. Can't you put more than five seconds of thought into your post?
I'm not sure if this is really clever shitposting that's going over my head or not.
My question is, "how do I actually get better at the game?" I don't have a lot of free time to watch streams or just play game after game. It's mostly down to trying hard to make better decisions than other people, since I just don't get as much practice. Mechanically, I'm actually not too bad for my elo, at least from the metrics that I can quantify. When I play ADC, I'm almost always around 10 cs up on the enemy ADC by about 15 minutes, unless I get a bad matchup, which is pretty rare. I can usually snowball the cs lead even further to about 20 to 30, and then hold it there for the rest of the game. However, once lane phase is over and there's less last hitting, I don't feel like I'm good enough at kiting or decision making for the lategame phase. What do I do?

This includes things like champion picks, better positioning, takind objectives... Ask yourself "Why did I die there? Could I have avoided that death? Could I have put more pressure on my lane? Stolen any buffs? Pushed harder? Played safer? Given my team some tips or leading?" Improve your cs. Doesn't matter that you are ahead of your enemy, you can always improve. Edit: Pro-tips from a Silver IV nooblord, may be useless advice :P
Man when I started playing Leona like 3-4 months ago, barely anyone played her. Now I see her in like 7 out of 10 games.

What do I do?
I don't know if you're familiar with SC2's Day9. in one episode he talks about learning mechanics in a way that stuck with me. What you might want to do is going into a game with one object in mind. For example, this game i'm going to have xx cs by 10 mintues. xyz by 20 mintues. then keep doing that untill you hit your targets, eventually when you are confident with that move on and expand on it. So for example, i will have 100 cs by 10 mintues and ill harass either of my opponents with an auto attack every 10 seconds. then keep doing that untill you can do both fantastically then expand again. etc etc. as far as kiting goes i'd reccomend you play with ash, her frost shot'll teach you to kite pretty well, otherwise Quinn isn't to bad with it either due to her W/E. Decision making however i feel probably can only come from playing enough matches and making the mistakes, consider getting a recorder program and finding breaks in your play where you can objectively say that you didn't make the best, and try to justify internally each desicion you made during that match. ARAM's can be pretty good too for making calls in teamfights. Hope that helps somewhat
100cs by 10mins is pretty hard to get on most champs at silver/bronze level...
But its possible. Make it a goal and you'll improve your CS. Or just start at lower amounts, and keep increasing, etc.
100cs by 10mins is pretty hard to get on most champs at silver/bronze level...
It's an example, the idea is you set it yourself then increment it up.
last hitting is not that much of a problem, its not that hard to learn making enough lane pressure to properly cs is the problem
Had 98 LP, Ez dcs twice early game, feeds Twitch, our Volibear and Jax keep verbal abusing each other and everyone else until Volibear loses. -14 LP. [editline]2nd June 2013[/editline] Welp another 4 more wins till promotion I guess :suicide:

He just does the most amazing job at breaking down the process of learning for SC2.
A good way to become more aware is after ever CS or 2, look at the minimap or press tab to see who is missing.
100cs by 10mins is pretty hard to get on most champs at silver/bronze level...
I'm definitely not that good at all, for sure. I hear it set out as a goal a lot but I've never actually managed to do it as far as I can remember.
a "good" cs for high rank players is 10/min, starting at the 2 minute mark i used to aim for 100 cs by 20 min, then i gradually moved up to 125 cs by 20 min, and now im struggling to meet 150 by 20 min unless im dominating lane or getting no pressure from last hitting
I just checked and I tend to get about 130 or so by 20 minutes. I don't know for sure when I lost the creeps, though. It might have been a badly timed recall, or engaging in a fight at a bad time. I always feel like I get a good number of minions per wave, but I haven't really kept track closely.
I tend not to think about CS right now since i then forget about other things, i think playing as Annie might be helping though. Here's a question - Auto attack on or off? Mines is on off for about a month now.
Always off.
I leave it on since I can tell if people warded bushes with it on.
It's kinda risky as it can screw you over.
