im pretty sure atleast
i hate when the enemy team brings their team drama in to all chat
i have all chat disabled

Occasionally I want to compliment people for a good play, but most of the time, eh. It's not worth turning off.
Decided to try solo queue, I felt doomed when the support locked in Alistar. First he knocks blue buff over the wall, so I stay and help to try and be nice, then I'm 1-2 levels behind now, so he goes in and pushes Draven towards me so I die :C
He ended up ragequitting, but the rest of the team were really nice folks and they helped me get back into the game. Was pretty fun. But oh god dont pick Alistar bronze players.
this just in: bronze players don't play like gold players
Is every Alistar trying to be in a "wood elo" video then? Cause I don't fucking believe it lol. It's pretty hilarious though.
what's your summoner name again?
are we seriously going there again?
i'm just curious
you complain about every single game, and i'm 100% convinced you have some part in it so i want to see how well you did and what your builds are etc etc
it's for your own good
seriously what's your summoner name

on that note is there a site that shows purchases over the course of a game? I swear I saw someone use it to map SV's jungle purchases throughout a full game.
you want to give me actual constructive critisism? np
currently on a loss streak though

oh you mostly play adc
i don't play that so i have no useful advice
all i can say is that even when you win it seems like you die quite frequently and i'm willing to bet you're not buying nearly as many wards as you should be (especially top, where shit seems to happen to you)
also with your one elise game (i'm guessing you went top), don't buy spec wraith on her ever. if you insist on spell vamp, grab a revolver and just wait until you're mostly full then upgrade it (i'd say gunblade but i have a weird love for that thing)
also (and this i can say confidently) if you take a tanky ap bruiser top, for the love of god, do not get liandry's first. your main goal top (in general, but especially with people like elise, morde, swain, rumble, etc) is to stay alive and farm. first and foremost, farm. your goal should be to try and farm up (because you're not going to snowball, probably) so you can be horrifying mid-late game. so yeah liandry's is a good pick, but seriously, get rylai's first.
[editline]4th June 2013[/editline]
your last hitting actually seems fairly respectable (granted i can't see the full game so for all i know you had 10 cs until 25 minutes and then just farmed and ignored everyone) so just focus on map awareness and not getting your own ass handed to you on a plate by their jungler
hadnt played top in a while, i heard spec wraith was viable from voyboy, i did fine in the laning phase, i just didnt deal with kassadin properly. i was buying a ton of wards, kassadin had tp, and there was also no ss'ing from viktor. i really want to get back into playing mid though. i want to buy jayce. my winrate on varus is really high, but i get caught too often. i gotta learn to read my team better i guess.
[editline]4th June 2013[/editline]
and yeah, i've begun focusing on getting better at getting creeps, usually ahead of the other laner, and when i see an opportunity for a kill, i go in. my last varus game was horrible when cs'ing, i was behind by 50 cs because i wanted to help evelynn after alistar screwed up, then he murdered me by pushing draven into me when i was running from him.

Shout out to Zed's genius name.
[editline]4th June 2013[/editline]
also lol you two having a fight hahaha
first of all never listen to professionals. ever.
secondly just buy wards
phreak said something interesting on his stream the other day. his basic approach to laning/fog of war is the following:
[quote]don't surround yourself in fog of war. actively ask yourself, "could someone be in that brush, and could there be a ward under my feet right now?"[/quote]
if it's even VAGUELY possible that the answer to either (especially the first) question is yes, for the love of god don't go there. sure, that requires a fair bit of map awareness (where did i last see their jungler, when their mid left the lane which direction did he go, how long ago did they go shop, do any of them have teleport, etc) but honestly it's really not THAT hard to keep track of.
and seriously i can't understate this enough, but as many wards as you can. a ward is like...what, eight minion kills? That's totally a worthy purchase because the awareness alone it gives you is worth eight minions, plus if you die you'll miss way more than that. plan your backs and give yourself enough money to buy whatever item plus one or two wards. (unless you're forced back, then whatever)

then again i am only in low silver so my advice may not be that useful (but i am higher than you) so if someone better than me (read: most of you) want to chime in, please do
nothing wrong with taking advice from better player, its just that if you dont know what you are doing and blindly copying them then there is no point
i meant don't listen to them about items or what's viable or not, you don't have their mechanics to back it up (which is why half the blue ezreals i see are terrible)

exactly

I see a pretty hard build order on your ADC and the two Riven games I see. You build like a glass cannon on your ADC's and you either end up well with a good K/D and winning, but you try to do the same when you're losing. If your losing build defensive items; If I'm behind I like to start building my defensive items right after my first core damage. A single Chainmail, or Negatron Cloak(or hex drinker) can go a LONG way.
A ward is hardly eight minion kills. I believe caster minions start at 16 gold, which makes a ward worth approximately 5 cs. Bear in mind gold from cs increase with time, and melee/siege minions are worth even more.

I actually never thought about that, I just try to farm and avoid death till I am as strong as them and then they will usually be like "hurr durr I can kill you cause I could 10 minutes ago" and then I kill them instead.
bait them and outsmart them
and then play chess with them

Well as the game goes on into mid game it matters less and less if you can take someone out, but rather if your team in general can survive long enough in a fight to do enough damage to kill the entire enemy team. If you as a glass cannon can get knocked out in 5 seconds, You can't really say you contributed much even if you managed to knock someone out. Glass cannon builds only really work well if you have a good team comp for it, like in a 'Protect the Kog' scenerio.
Well, as Varus, whom I have an extremely high winrate with, you do not have many escapes.
[editline]4th June 2013[/editline]
88.2% winrate with him. 15/17 games won.

It also depends on the way you play. You can neglect defensive items, but you'll have to play way more conservative and only hit what you can without getting gibbed. Meanwhile if you get "early" defensive items you can just go ham and if your team is there you will probably win the fight whether or not you're getting focused.
I always end with a defensive item, usually an AD Armor/MR item.
Unless you're behind then you will probably have to play safe anyway.

I'm not trying to argue for building a defensive item second while in the early game, just that you might want a little something to keep you alive if you're not doing well. And most definitely you'll want that little something before team fights; playing conservatively doesn't help much during team fights when your team needs the ADC to stay alive and dishing out damage.

You deal more damage going glass cannon it's just that this damage goes towards killing tanks and annoying supports rather than sniping high priority targets.
