When you say "constant source of healing" I'm assuming you're including lifesteal and spellvamp? If so, then, if you're looking to max out cdr really quickly without using runes, then go ahead. IMO you are better off getting other cdr items like athenes and and DFG which will be more useful to you and your team.

thresh is a difficult champion not gonna lie
besides he requires an adc that has at least a resemblance of a brain which is a rare sight for me personally
with someone like sona or taric their limited perception can at least see the sloooooowly moving particles and think "my support might want to attack them! maybe i should help?"

In an attempt to get better at the game, how does one beat Jayce top with Xin Zhao? Xin is mostly who I main top and I can play him decently for the most part but I can't do shit against Jayce, I beat him in a straight up duel but it's Jayce, there's no reason for him to straight up duel him instead of just knocking my ass back and going back to his ranged pewpew.

So I'm playing in my silly silver elo (I only have like 20 ranked games so I haven't bothered to climb)
The enemy Lee Sin takes Q at lvl1 for some reason because we invaded them.
He comes to gank bot at lvl2 with only blue and just walks into lane and dies.

Starting Q isn't a horrible idea in the new jungle. It clears just as fast as E, and if you're stuck hammering on your buff all alone it's a better option than E.
How do I start taking League seriously? I typically play Dota most of the time, and play League when I'm bored, or don't have the time to do a full dote. This results in me leaving around 50% of the games I join. The game just feels boring - sometimes I'll just go "ehhh" and close the game because I don't even feel like playing it.
It's a shame - the only reason I play is because my friends play it. Can anyone suggest me some champions that are almost always fun? I can play Blitzcrank or Karthus like 2 or 3 times before I get bored with them. Low price champs would be good (3150 ip tops), because 6300 takes far too much grinding and I'm never spending money on League. I had my eye on Shen or Rammus, maybe Singed. Jayce looks cool but he's way too expensive
Nidalee maybe? She is free-weak atm, you can try her out.
6 skills and a bit more interesting gameplay then most champions.
