You have a 5 game grace after promotion. If you are 0 lp, you get demoted right off the bat except for that 5 game grace.
Wow, i just got reported by 3 people, 2 of them muted me at the start then our toxic support raged at me in all chat and at the end told them to report and they went "ok sure reported".

This system is so fucked. They rig the LP gains and losses and then it really doesn't matter in the end because promo matches are about Wins/Losses, not about average LP gain.

She got a slight rework of her passive.
Anybody got any tips for playing as Lux? I seem to deal less damage than I do when I play other champions, be of less use to my allies and generally worse in every area.
She isn't a pure damage mage, she leans a bit towards utility. Just build her with a lot of AP. Landing your ult on multiple targets is what she does as opposed to focusing on nuking down one person like some AP mages.
Disclamer: I haven't played Lux since S2.

Maybe I need to try a different mage out then, it seems like I just suck at everything as Lux, where as when I'm an AD guy that doesn't happen.

She's skillshot reliant, so she's not effective unless you hit 90%+ of your skillshots.
Her passive is strong with something like a lich bane, she's got good cc from Q and E and the W is nice for last tick ignite escapes.
That being said there are better raw ap damage champs, and there are more focused support role ap's but Lux is a nice mix and can be played either way quite well.
lux is stupidly easy
throw E for harass, when you want to 100-0 someone hit them with Q, then E and R and congratulations they are dead
if you get ganked, throw a Q, throw an E but dont activate it and if they ignite you just press W
build full AP because you are a man
