Can someone explain how I get matched with a Silver 5 in a Ranked Game while I'm Gold 1 myself? And it's not like he's been dodging his promo series, he had 17LP
It's been said time and time again his elo must be really high, just his tier sucks.
It's entirely possible for a Bronze person to be matched up against Diamond if he dodges all his promos.

It wasn't really possible, this game was pretty much doomed from 30 minutes because we were pushed into our base, we just managed to hold out for 40 minutes before they finally got us.

The minimap isn't really something you should complicate even with different icons, it's for you to glance at every now and then. It's completely understandable they don't want to change the icons.

Yes, and the chance should definately be taken if for some reason nobody picked him for the jungle yet.
Just goes to show that an Amumu isn't an automatic win, atleast at this level. I guess a lot of people aren't used to playing with him on a team and don't understand how much he can contribute to teamfights. Hecarim secured us 4 kills in the first 5 minutes. Their team had a lot of lockdown CC with Ali, Amumu and Malz ult, but they never used it effectively. They never CC'd me in teamfights at all and I just focused on peeling for Sivir.

Well I lost the few LP I had won over the three matches I played in the span of two terrible games with a team in serious denial that kept on dying out of greed and expected me to global heal them like I was soraka (playing GP support does rarely allow for such things) and another one with a zac with the worst ganks EUW who was constantly complaining how no one ever warded (bot was full of wards and top was covered in mushrooms).
Zac also made some shit up about how the Team/Enemy team kill counter on the top right is apparently a mixture of kills and assists, and the entire counter was his own score (it was 6/27 at the time, and he argued 6 came from his 2 kills and 3 assists, somehow).
So this is back to square one for me. I expected people to not be dicks in ranked as opposed to all the trollpicking idiots in normal, guess I was wrong.
