ok. his damage is high but he is a manawhore. theres your pros and cons.
Corki is good in lane but past that if you're against any team that doesn't suck in teamfights they will probably end up winning.

I guess I could say I am more lucky than other people in this thread, but I still meet A LOT of ragers, especially now during my lose, lose, lose, lose, lose, win, lose, lose... period.
Funny how a lot of these games are still winnable, but we just lose them because fuck playing, raging and typing is apparently more fun!

I feel you. Xerath is also a giant fucker, how are you allowed to have an 3.2 AP ratio at 1000/1300 range and 40% spellpen? You CAN dive Xer, but that's pretty much the only cure. If you can't dive him, you are fucked. 1330 base burst damage, and with 500 AP you can increase that to 2930, which is enough to kill anyone with 90 MR and lower than 1904 HP at 1000 range, [B]in 3 seconds[/B]. And it's not like his Q has a long cooldown either. With 40% CDR, you can add easily another Q into the mix, which would extend this combo to a theoretical 3 seconds. With this new ratio, you have a 3.8 AP ratio with 1565 base, increasing this 500 AP damage to 3465, which is enough to kill that same enemy with 2252. This isn't even taking into account Magic Pen or special effects. Xerath is THE fucker.
Compare this to Lux's 2.05 burst which can also be scary. It has a base of 1190 (without proccing Illumination since we're playing this at 1100 range), and with 500 AP, will deal 2215 damage. Against a target with 90 MR, this will only do 1167 damage. If you include Void Staff in that 500 AP, Lux's full burst will do 1397 damage, which doesn't even scratch Xerath. Granted, she does have a shield ability instead of straight damage.
[B]Xerath gets a free Void Staff, so he gets 2295 worth of free gold from his W, albeit he roots himself to the ground.[/B] So basically, Xerath is really really good. You don't even need to do this full burst, since you can poke for tonnes of damage.

What the fuck? I played a game (as King Xerath of course), DCed, got the "attempting to reconnect" and then I quit the game. I could not rejoin. The game just disappeared, there's no proof of the game ever happening. Not in my match history either. IS THIS REAL LIFE? I was also losing a Ranked game, so thank you whatever happened, but this seems rather fishy.
