Just look at "Only Rengar"'s stream. Triple Q: Wait until you have 3 ferocity, ulti, press Q right as you hit 5 ferocity, wait for 3 ferocity to build up and jump on them, now you procced one empowered Q, then you Q again because it gets reset, then you use 2 skills, and now your Q is off cooldown again because you have 5 ferocity. At level 5 Q (Level 9): 2 Rengar empowered Q's: (200+235)*2=870 870+(200+150)= 1220 (AD is usually around 235 if you have brutalizer and your bonetooth, which is extremely underfed at level 9) Above, with my INCREDIBLE math skills, I've included the 2 empowered Q's, and the 1 normal Q. Or maybe I just made a laugh out of myself, being quite shitty at math. But not only do you have the burst damage, you also have a 200% attack speed bonus for a couple of seconds. So that's 1220 burst damage that you can deal pretty much instantly, if you are NOT fed. I actually play support rengar because the damage is still incredibly high, even without items. I had a chat with Only Rengar during one of his streams where he completely agreed with me, Rengar is still an incredibly strong champion, yet he's very unpopular because it's actually hard to pull of the plays right. In essence, it's retarded, and there's a reason that it is deemed toxic by Riot's design team.

I hate playing champions that are going to get extremely nerfed/reworked. Imagine when he was just getting released. If people knew about the triple Q straight off, at the time where his Q wasn't nerfed to shit, the game would be so broken.

Your math is a bit wrong, but the end result is the same. It's around 1200 raw damage. Taking normal masteries and runes, you would have 8%+5 ARP, against a level 9 target such as say zed, who would have 67 armor, this would be a total of 56 armor after arp, which means the damage would be ~769 damage. This would be more than half of zed's health. But I thought Rengars maxed e now?

You can max whatever you want with Rengar. Only Rengar usually goes with maxing Q, because he uses the extreme damage really well. If you're against a teeto or something like that, you should probably go with E. Also, the "Rengar is the strongest assasin in the game, prove me wrong" was just to spark up a debate. Many people underrate him really heavily, so I thought it would be cool to discuss him 8)

But then again he can double cast everything, so it doesn't really matter. That's what I find the stupidest, you can go 4->4 ferocity, meaning there's no repercussions for all-inning.

It has a base of 1190 (without proccing Illumination since we're playing this at 1100 range), and with 500 AP, will deal 2215 damage. Against a target with 90 MR, this will only do 1167 damage. If you include Void Staff in that 500 AP, Lux's full burst will do 1397 damage, which doesn't even scratch Xerath. Granted, she does have a shield ability instead of straight damage. [B]Xerath gets a free Void Staff, so he gets 2295 worth of free gold from his W, albeit he roots himself to the ground.[/B] So basically, Xerath is really really good.
