fuck today, lost 18 lp, from 51 to 33. 4 matches. one with feralicious, our team is arse, 3 others soloq. im diana, or bottom lane feeds, one of them afks. next match i win. next match our vi always saves her ult for low hp guys, so IM the one to initiate (i was corki) and then vi went afk.

I've never ever played draft pick and I know ranked has draft pick, so I'm wondering, how does it work exactly? I don't understand this whole trading thing, if I'm the captain, how do I know who to ban? All that stuff. I'm waiting to get a rune page for every positions before trying out ranked but I'd like to also learn how draft pick works so that I don't look like a fool.

It depends on your elo. If you're only average/low then people usually ban tanks or champions that capitalize heavily on mistakes. Shen, Amumu, Thresh, Blitzcrank etc. You trade champions if you want to grab a highly contested champion first and then give it to the player that wants to play it. Either that or higher picks don't want to get countered so they pick a Support or something and trade with a lower pick so they can see what the enemy chooses. Play normal draft to get the hang of draft mode. Again, don't jump into ranked once you hit30. Get maybe 100-200 more games under your belt and then take a shot.

It takes time to get better at LoL. First try to set a CS goal. 100 CS by 15-17 minutes is a modest target to aim for.

It's easier to get last hitting down when you've basically memorized your aa animation. Also, with that CS, I have a feeling you're trying to prioritize harassment over cs. Don't do that. Your first priority is to not die, followed by getting gold, followed by warding, and THEN harass. If you take more than one auto-attack in harass per creep you kill, you're basically losing the lane (well not really, but think of it that way) Just pay attention to your positioning and make sure your priorities are correct and don't go out of your way to harass someone. (obviously, if your jungler's coming in for a gank, go help. but otherwise make sure you're killing as many minions as you can) also i'm not sure you know this or not (i didn't until like three months ago), melee creeps will die in two tower hits and an AA, ranged die in two AAs and a tower hit, cannon creeps die in like five tower hits and two AAs. if you get pushed under your tower, don't spam AAs, let them keep your lane pushed and just try to kill shit. (again there are exceptions to this, but generally speaking you should be able to last hit under your tower because eventually someone's going to push you real hard) [editline]8th July 2013[/editline] also ash what's up with the alt

i remember the other day when i kept stealing kills by mistake as support blitzcrank on ranked kinda sucked but it was fun being 4/0 before 15 mins i didnt get any other kills after that, luckily, and we won, which was cool i guess
