I dont know if what you guys are calling trading is "hitting stuff with the axe at the minimum distance and barely moving to get it back", but if it is then yeah that was really useful, especially for jungling
also how it doesnt pass through walls really sucks. it's not a great slow but it's pretty spammable, and it's his only CC and a sorry excuse for a gap closer, which is balanced out by how strong he is. but now, chasing, ganking and maybe even 1v1ing with him is gonna suck.

I don't think the inability to throw his axe through walls is that much of a trade off. Olaf can't go over walls with any of his abilities anyway and the speed of the axe makes it very predictable so it wasn't that reliable of a sniping ability.
His Q gameplay revolves a lot around it being refreshed.

I respectfully disagree. The ability to throw his axe over walls has secured me many kills.
You won't be able to use it to check Baron anymore from the top side. :(
Read on the forums that the axe being stuck to walls meant that he could still jungle but the trade off is that he wont' be able to use it to check objective pits or snipe people which is a power trade off so they can buff him elsewhere.

It does 2% of current health. My best guess is to figure it out math-wise before hand with a set amount of magic resist and AP and the such, and then figure it out real world. Have somebody on the other team watching his health. I suppose you'd have to take into account the amount of health recovered each second too. It's just a bunch of tedious work, imo.

i use liandrys to counteract lifesteal/regen/heals and consider any damage i deal when using it to people without these things a bonus

it's hard to tell most of the time how much good it's really doing, if we're winning hard enough that i can grab one in a small amount of time then it usually doesn't really matter what i build, and if we're not doing so great the time it takes to work up to it is usually longer than the time i have to make the passive efficient

Look at his K/D, he's 39/4. A Wukong or Miss Fortune that's 39/4 will also blow an entire team to pieces, and that's even AOE damage this is just single target one direction.

that's the main reason i don't really like the new Ranked League system because once you hit a new tier you can't fall out again.
if you got diamond 5 and have no intention to hit challenger you can just fuck around in ranked and do whatever and still get diamond rewards
