Even though I prefer Seraphs in the first place due to how much mana you'll have and making use of some AP ratios, but not buying Muramana anymore because it does physical now is stoopid[/QUOTE]
lets break it down
taking a maxed ryze with 3470 mana you can get
208 physical damage on Q and W at full mana with muramana
80 magical damage on q 119 on w and 70 on each bounce of e with seraphs in addition to a 844 shield at full mana
you deal additional 90 damage against turrets with a muramana and 80 dmg with seraphs
now with s3 armor is much more effective and easier to buy than mres and the phys damage from muramana will probably get halved, if not more, against most targets
another point is that the splash damage from his ult doesnt work with muramana but it does with ap from seraph
now ask yourself would you prefer an unreliable source of damage that goes down as your mana drains that gives you no defence at all OR comparable reliable damage with a possibly huge shield that eats up a lot of enemy burst?
yeah but who actually remembers the shield on seraphs
LCS team icons are in the store now, 250 an icon or you can buy some bundles with only NA, only EU, or all of them.
I see what you mean. I do think, though, if the enemy is seriously stacking heavy MR to counter you, muramana might still be a good choice, since now they need armor, now that you've given your abilities mixed damage.

also they updated abilities that load up, for example corkis missiles are now shown charging on the ability icon instead of the effects above your abilities. theres a large number next to your ability showing how many rockets you have
