They reduced his armor and hp again, he is going to be squishier that sona early.
To be trully effective he needs to be very close/melee range to the enemy. So yeah..

Souls drop rate is normalized with the number of souls thresh has: if he has very few for that moment in the match, the drop rate goes up, if he has too many, they pretty much don't drop unless you kill big minions and champs.
I'd rather they nerf the lantern

There is not much they can do to nerf it. They can't reduce the range nor increase the cd.
It has a pretty high cd and somewhat high mana cost. He needs it to check bushes (he can use his hook, but it can miss and it's better to save it for when you are certain it'll land.) pick distant souls else he falls behind.
If you fear that thresh wants to do that, force him to waste his lamp constantly (to escape, to pick souls, to save people or to check bushes, etc.).
You can also ward to see if their jungler is going to try that.
"Oh hey, I'm feeling pretty good today, lets play some league, might be fun!"
And then fate hands me a kassadin that had 22 CS when we surrendered at 25 minutes
"well never mind, then!"
Disable lantern usage if the target is CC'd, soft or hard?

the rest of Thresh is fine, but lantern is one of the stupidest abilities in the game

considering it'd take both players to the same spot it'd probably be a gamble on your teammate's life
so you wouldnt have to worry just about greedy adcs, you'd have to worry about thresh players who are greedy on your behalf :v:

Then people would use it to bait idiots into their tower. (in casual matches people would rightclick atleast oncce, in ranked you could use it to block last hits or still save an ally, since you are pulling the enemy to you, and usually the support's death is much less important that the carry's and even then thresh can defend himself or atleast push them away and escape, etc, etc. ) (this might be overthinking, but it's always a good idea to think of everything that X ability can possibly do.)
why not just allow people to attack the lantern
Lantern should have a 1% chance of ripping a hole in the fabric of timespace itself and switching the player who grabs it with a random player from another game of LoL...
Or even another game entirely... You're relaxing with a nice friendly game of Solitaire? TOO BAD... AP Yi up in your face...

Yes but I'm talking about the guy the lantern being able to get knocked up or something to interrupt it.
And the traveling itself being slower too.
Many stuns and roots while travelling work so it stuns you at the end of a travel, if you got stunned while travelling. Think Aatrox q, Caitlyn e. They get stunned/slowed when the travel has ended.

You can stand on the lamp and the enemy can't click it.
I was thinking that "maybe if they made it so that you can't click it if an enemy is inside the green ring of the lamp", but that would kill the main point of the lamp and would still allow the "pull you junglers out of your ass" thing, and the inverse (only being able to use the map if an enemy is in it's range) would be stupid.
I still think that the lamp is fine. Just because you actually have to think to counter it doesn't mean it's bad.
It's like the argument about "Invisibility being "toxic"" from a few pages ago.

They'll obviously update all the icons eventually to match the new style. I just don't like that new style.
