It's to be a guy who soaks up damage FOR all the assassins. If your team consists of sona, cait, xerath, rengar and you as trundle, then who do you think they expect to be the guy who soaks up all the damage for them while they poke from the backline? You. If the enemy team has even two functioning braincells, they'll know to kite you when you have that build, and you're going to die very quickly with no target to sustain from.

trundle gets so many free stats already so building 3 damage items in a row is a massive waste just go botrk and then full tank

Well I didn't say that was typically the build order, usually I'd have picked up a Warmog's or a Randuin's before the BT or LW (I barely ever end up building the LW anyway) His base health stats and the self healing increase on W makes his sustain and tankiness pretty good even if you don't go full tank.

Yesterday I played a bunch of games in ultimate bravery and I stumbled on a dude playing teemo who was absolutely obsessed with making the coop vs AI game at least 40 minutes long to get as many IP as possible for first win of the day, so he just kept throwing himself at the AI to "feed them". We won within 20 minutes and he raged pretty hard.

It's worrying when a friend of mine with 60 normal game wins and a ton of bot games plays Blitz better than most Blitz players I meet. He just needs to learn some Support 101 but I was pretty impressed by his Blitz play.

Blitzcrank isn't especially hard to play, he's got a simple understandable kit and all of his spells serve a specific purpose. His burst is rather easy to place too. The thing is, most people who play blitzcrank are either insanely predictable with their hooks (how many times have you seen a blitzcrank use his speed boost and run like a maniac towards a fleeing ADC who goes hiding under their turret, blowing all chances of a good engage), or do good hooks but fail to understand the champion has other spells to use too. Personally when I use blitzcrank I always build as much activables as possible so I can effectively shield people, speed them up, cleanse them and slow enemies pretty much at the same time :v:

i actually kinda got used to saving ip now but i dont think i'll have enough patience to keep doing it after like 2 times saving for 4800 ip champs tho
