Now that's just retarded. Of course people are going to be upset, and some people will get verbal about it. I'm sure there is not one single player who has been totally mum about their upset in a game such as LoL, and to punish each person severely is just a waste of resources. The only people who should be punished are those that are consistently douches. I agree that the current punishments for those people are not sever, but the answer is not to widen the punishment range, but rather to harden punishments against those who deserve it.

Would someone here please explain to me why Gangplank isn't a good pick at upper tiers? I vaguely remember Nintendo-Guy or Katsuie explaining this a while back, but I can't remember the reasoning.

i think people at high elo underestimate his utility, free 20 ad and 10% ms for your team and a global point blank slow field is pretty big

GP's ult is really situational and only good for picking off players with low health. Probably why it's one of the only global ults in the game now.

It's also a massive slow. Its not primarily used for the damage, a smart gangplank uses it for the slow.
But being in it for a while hurts like shit.

Well you're wording it like he's a Support.
His jungle is pretty bad. It's slow as he has no aoe and as you said, he needs items to be good which isn't a luxury that a jungler gets. If you don't snowball then you're hella squishy and you don't do shit with your pistol.

that was over a year ago when he was strong
the meta shifts so rapidly and GP just got power creeped on and has had unfavorable stealth "nerfs" due to meta golem not being a thing anymore.

you said nothing about his trading/lane power
his damage output is pretty weak and parrrley isn't spammable anymore. Again, he only has one damaging spell outside of his ult. If you activate raise morale before you Q then that's like 100 mana gone.
