the new yi is pretty cool but everytime you see an enemy it's mandatory you taunt until you get "your skills are inferior"
Such bullshit that the taunt has two taunts now so you can't spam it as effectively.

is botrk worth picking up on yi? the active might be overkill for sticking on your enemies, but really helpful if your ult's on cd
also, he's still got a lot of mana probs
BotRK sounds good on him, gives him attack speed, he auto attacks a lot, and gives him a much needed slow.
manamune yi GET ON MY LEVEL
botrk is very good on him as long as you dont rush it
why not rush it? I haven't played new yi but I imagine the active being very good for ganking
because it gives 25 ad and no crit, i'd rather just buy bilgewater for the cc and leave it at that until later
id go hydra or bt any day over botrk on the new yi, his scalings are too good

With his insane mana issues i was actually wondering if fulling buying Manamune if you're doing well would be worth it. Tears wouldn't just be enough for stacking.
if you're jungle just take the all blue buffs cause its your jungle

What is it with toplaners these days.
For those who have heard of trilaning in Dota 2, my friend and I found a viable way that it works in LoL.
Take smite with Teemo, to make the other team confused as to why Teemo is jungling. Then, get into a bush and rely on your passive. As the other team pushes, you jump out and attack them.
You can't rely on this too much as bot lane will get paranoid, but it's very viable early game
But then you don't have a jungler?
Jungling is more important in League than in Dota given the buffs and control over the map, though. Not having a jungler is sort of inviting yourself to be stepped on and over.
Besides, trilaning works in Dota because of the leashing and stacking mechanics of the jungle creeps, which allows the supports to level up and get some gold (along with pull the lane back to their tower) while the Carry retains all the EXP and gold benefits of a solo lane.

i have a habit of buying a tear on any champ that gives me mana problems
the way i see it is 700g for unlimited mana, assuming you aren't going full retard spam with your skills or will be going without blue buff/recall for a while, you should rarely run oom

Takes me back to the days of Season 1 with any lane variety of Taric, Pantheon and Sion together and hiding in the bush waiting for the inevitable facecheck.
i tried getting botrk first on yi (except i bought a tear first) and it felt kinda meh, bought an IE right after and then I could actually pick up kills easily

Buy Tear, boots, and ward in first trip back and sit in lane all day while shitting on the enemy top and never falling below 70% hp
