Jumping into ranked when I first hit 30 was the dumbest thing ever, no proper runes etc.
why play talon when there's zed
ive been a professional talon player for the past 20 years and ur wrong
give me 1 reason why talon would be better than zed
He wears purple +1 Talon point
Zed has Naruto run when he has a lot of ms +1 Zed point
its a tie sry
[editline]2nd August 2013[/editline]
Actually Zed has red + black colour scheme and thus is more edgy than Talon. Zed wins.
everyone knows talon is better because he beats that op noob champ kassadin!!!
Ugh, I dunno what's wrong with me. I used to be doing really good and constantly rising and getting queued with Gold 3's as silver 1. Now I'm on a terrible losing streak and I've dropped to silver 2 and getting queued with as low as bronze 1 now. It's not even that I'm playing badly. I mean, occasionally I slip up and do bad a match, but most of the matches I do well.
I almost email'd riot to remove zed from my account when I saw he had his super sick anime run~~~ but I got over it. Just so barely worth it.

I was unaware anime characters as a whole had a specific run cycle
Why do people throw my Bronze rank at me like it's an insult? I don't even play ranked =/
I thought only diamonds got raged at for not being perfect in normals.
Oh boy I was wrong.
People sure love to flame you for being platinum.
Bronze gets flamed for being bad.
Plat, diamond, challenger for being good and not playing god damn perfectly and super hard carrying in normal games.
Only silver gold seems to be somewhat neutral.

everyone will flame everyone for not playing perfectly or how they like it
bronzes I dunno, silver will think theyre super pro at the game because theyre.. silver..
golds, same thing.
Havnt been further than that yet.
i'm a bit confused with magic resist. Does it work against abilities in general, or only ability power scaling abilities?
Jungle Malph is just as fun as it was a few months ago.
When I smited the big blue golem at lvl 1, my teammate asked about it. Whats the current jungle meta?
i'm a bit confused with magic resist. Does it work against abilities in general, or only ability power scaling abilities?
Magic damage. Most spells do magic dmg, but some spells on non-mage type heroes might do physical damage, and some passive effects (WW's onhit lifesteal/damage) deal magic damage.

Against magic damage itself. Spells do magic or physical damage, with some doing "true" damage that bypasses all defenses. Generally things that scale off of AP do magic damage, though I think there are a few exceptions. One of shyvanas abilities scales off of your AD(damage items like longsword and etc) but it still does magic damage, unless it has been changed recently. One of the few examples.

it works against magic damage abilities
so that means it works against most ability power scaling abilities and works against almost no attack damage scaling abilities. on a skill's tooltip, it says whether it is magic or physical damage

smiteless blue, smite red, gank closest lane
is what everyone does atleast, or the other way around if you want to

Most keep their smite so they can steal the enemy red buff, but in competitive games it's normal to smite blue in case their jungler is going to be a douchebag and flash smite consume it as nunu.
Why do you save Smite for Red? Cooldown came off in time for Red just fine, I didn't have to wait all that long for it (a couple of seconds). Does that mean my progress was slow?
EDIT: Ah, if its for stealing from the enemy then I can see the point.
if you're planning on clearing the whole jungle then you might as well use smite on the first buff
i prefer to get a smiteless and then just go to the next buff and smite that so i can gank asap
Oh, okay. I guess thats the optimal choice for guys like Lee or Shaco, who have gapclosers. Malph doesn't gank too well until 6.

If you're smite would be up before you do red then you're doing something terribly wrong
Most junglers go blu->red->gank.
Well I went Blue -> wolves -> wraiths -> Red. I don't think I was too slow either, cleave cleared camps quite well.
Go skip either wolves or wraiths, doing both is a waste of time
Most people just take the bottom jungle buff then go to the other and gank top at lvl 3
my route is always blue, wolves, red, gank early
because if you don't gank earlier than the enemy jungler you get a bonus passive, +40% chance of being blamed by your team

what's the point in doing wolves, just blue and red gets you level 3
taking wolves gains you nothing
really? because I used to not do wolves at all but with some champions it seemed like I didnt get level 3 so I started doing them

perhaps its just when the team stays for too long
or maybe im just stupid
