uh tristana and draven just do different things. You pick Tristana for her late game power (especially her mad deeps) while you pick Draven for his laning
which doesnt at all change the fact that they have different playstyles, and that my argument still stands
Jayce is pretty good IMO, but clearly much less variety than invoker

ok let's go by your logic again, complexity = power
so can you tell me that invoker is the strongest hero in dota?
But he only hero I want fucking ported from dota is fucking storm spirit
Global gap closer pls roit
Would fit right into league of gapcloser

Hmm a few months or more ago he was a top pick iirc
But picked twice at ti3, his laning is shitty compared to current strong peeps
you should too

My auto merge

I don't see how that's got to do with anything since the original post was about invoker, stop dodging my question rofl
I guess invoker is top tier OP and drow ranger is gutter trash then

I would laugh my ass of if they ported either Ravage or Charge of Darkness directly on some champion.
(No, Vi's ult doesn't count.)
Would like lifestealer ported to league
Imagine a bear bounding towards you then suddenly this fucking disfigured thing comes out of him

now stop "dodging my question" with your opinions on dota and lets go back to talking about league pls

zimbabwe bahamas
Also morello is wrong IMO
Fuck I'm sure all of us here can factor a fucking quadratic yet can't remember basic 3 thing combinations that thematically you can guess what they do ( fire = Dmg, ice equals cc, lightning is emp or cc or fast stuff)?
And while mid game invoker is basically using only 3-4 spells, once it hits late game, you have a world of desicion in front of you and endless combos. Check out some top tier invoker plays. Truly awesome. If u thought lee sin plays were good, invoker ultra plays are trillion times better.
Riot just needs to bolden up and take some risks. Jayce and Elise and lee sin and thresh are all moderately bold steps, but if they grow some balls and put in some truly satisfying mechanics in (bloodstone storm spirit buy back cross map ult into triple kill), it would make the game much funner, with the "meta" stale as it is. (Although I probably go flubstrats tm in 97 percent of my games)
[editline]11th August 2013[/editline]
Then suddenly Aatroxos and u lose all hope

Now back to LoL related stuff: I want to get more AD carries. Since Lucian won't be added for a while (and I'm not going to get him while he costs a fortune.), who should I get? or should I just save for him?
wtf, when did i say he's supposed to be op? and that philosophy is even riot's. in fact it isnt even a philosophy, it's just common sense. difficulty isnt a correlation with power? is that why tristana, who has no skillshots doesnt deal a lot of damage early on and instead needs farm to shine late game, while draven, who has to concentrate on catching his axes while not having terribad positioning (thus being much harder to play than trist), deals much more damage without a lot of items? thats just straight up high-risk-high-reward. maybe that's how they'd need to make LoL's invoker in order for him to be balanced, but you're foolishly believing that the biggest problem a team of professionals with quite a bit of experience have is making him balanced, and not receiving a bad response from their more casual fanbase.
The problem you run into then is, if the harder champ wasn't more powerful, what is the reason that anyone would choose (in a competitive scene) to play him? They would have to deal with all the associated bullshit of learning combos :QWE QWW QWE WEQ EWQ etc etc all day for months and months, only then, in the competitive match, they do a normal amount of damage, but have spent an inordinate amount of time practicing and learning every possible combination of moves.
The point is, if they brought someone like Invoker in, then they'd have to make him so much more powerful than everyone else, or else he would be unused, and it doesn't sit within League's general philosophy. DOTA can have champs like Invoker or Zeus or that guy who has a map wide 4 second stun, or CC that lasts 8 seconds, because they've built the whole game around being able to give champs an amazing niche and have them fucking wreck anything if they farm long enough. In Dota it really is "farm for 40 minutes, flick the switch and GG you carried".
League and DOTA are so immensely different in their actual philosophy and playstyles that the only thing that you can compare is the fact they are in a moba arena. That's it.

Tell us who you have?
Quinn is trash don't bother.
Vayne huge FOTSeason because of Blade of the Ruined King essentially fixed her early game.
Draven - alot of fun but little weaker than he used to be
Trist - late game lololol
Graves - strong in general
Twitch - good for early lane wins with stealth and someone like Nami support

The only carry I own is tristana, which I got from the FB promo. (I keep buying mages and/or supports, I can't help it.)
I remember liking Graves the few times I played him. Draven is ok I guess.

Draven requires more micro management to make sure you keep your axes going, as thats the huge chunk of his damage, if you can't catch axes draven will be very udnerwhelming.
Graves is generally pretty strong, his smoke screen according to a few "pros" is one of the most OP spells in the game for its ability to shut down 2v2's and potential teamfights by just zoning everyone out of the area.
One thing I find to be bad about the "Invoker is bad for LoL because you need to remember too much to play against him" is the fact that the game has +100 champions, all of which have 4 abilities and passives. +400 individual abilities to remember, 10 more won't be that hard.
*list of adcs*
What about Varus? He's a pretty damn good ADC with good crowd control.
teleport rolling with tristana in normals is so great

Dota isn't just farm all day and watch carry 1v5 or some stupid shit like that. There's so many was to shut down carries with or without bkb that its not even funny. And you can sop their farming easily with gankers or supports (yes, supports do ASSLOADS of damage, and some even to late game like visage). There's many bviable strategies, four protect one is still viable, but many are out there, that only being one example.
Secondly, Dotas abilities are much stronger than leagues, but with obvious drawbacks, that guy who told everyone that Mirana had Ashe ult on a 10 sec cd forgot to mention that it is way slower, smaller hitbox, and it hits fucking minions and doesn't hav an aoe slow. Purges hooks can hit allies, including allies minions, making it fucking difficult. Leagues carries are very similar, but carry less hard potentially because they lack strong innate defense.
And if your actually ever played invoker, you'll know that his invoke skill has a 5 second cool down, and you can only have twos abilities at once. Hell, for most of the game youre gonna have it on a longer cd since u have to level quas wex exort, so at most, you'll only even fucking invoke a new spell once before 20 minutes in a normal engagement. Even with ages it's iirc a 2 sec cd, so at most a new spell every 2 seconds
So you have two pre prepared spells, and you can add one additional one in a normal game. It's not like you're playingstarcraft and smashing qwe super fast - the truth is, when you gank, you might just have deafening blast and meteor pre prepared, and after casting those two, finally use qqq to invoke cold snap, and then if your invoke comes off cd, use eee for sunstrike to finish them off
Wow a grand total of 2 invokes for a gank, during which i could potentially even look at e invoke description to remember what the combination was if I was a retard and forgot
People should go play invoker, even once, and then they might realize how he's not necessarily that 600 apm guy thy they think he is.
hey people remember that champion elise and how she is super versatile and can go to any lane
obviously all the players love her since she is so versatile right????????????
Invoker is actually the worst example for a few reasons: not only is he overloaded with tedious memorization and is baffling to anything but veteran players, he's actually not deep. Due to the sheer number of possible combinations, only a few are actually useful generally, but doing those requires a ritual to obtain. At the end of the day, your decision-making isn't really increased by much, but you get all the associated issues.
pls read
why we always talk about dota
this is league of korea
no more dota more league of legends
The only thing LoL needs from dota is Rubick's spell steal, that would bee amazing.
