There's no one else really like Urgot, he's considered to be an ADC in the meta but he can fit decently enough into other lanes, he doesn't really rely on auto-attacks since he has low base damage and range so he relies more on his Q for last hitting and everything else, and he's really mana hungry so a Tear->Manamune is a must have on him, and if you play him as an ADC he has an unconventional build since he's usually built to be tanky because his ult almost always causes him to throw himself into harm's way.
He can work very well in certain comps and if you can land your E reliably you can practically dominate the laning phase in whatever lane you're in with the strong poke his E->W->Q combo provides.

I'd rather have a shit(but relyable) slow rather then the MS bonus on hit/kill tho.

i wouldnt get urgot if i were you. the most fun 3150 champs i can think of are gangplank, akali, pantheon and kassadin

did you just say it was a shit, but reliable slow? because it's quite the opposite, it was good (slowed for more movespeed than the MS it gives now, if i'm not wrong) but rarely procced

I played urgot on the free weekend and quite enjoyed him.
Can i ask why you say not to get him? And can you tell me about gangplank and kassadin if its still a bad idea?

Thing about urgot is he falls off lategame like a bus off of a cliff unless he gets extremely fed. Mind you I like urgot a lot, but he isn't a very strong pick with most comps
Urgot and Kassadin are both situational and I don't really recommend playing them as a beginner. Gangplank is just straight up not good right now.

I mean if you want to try someone out you can go ahead and nab them if you want, GP, Kass, Urgot are all very fun picks. No need to strictly adhere to the meta game, it's pretty boring if you do.

urgot is a ranged ad caster, if you want a really fun ranged ad caster save ip for jayce
