Well, you can still gank a lot even without tp. weaker ganks ofc, but even TP is only good for ganking every now and then. not dissing on TP, but if you're an AP carry, even one with an escape/gap closer, keep in mind the enemy might have those things too, and he'll probably also have flash to go with that, so the more you can survive/close in for the kill, the better

TP is great on champs like nasus and singed, who really benefit from being in the middle of the fight, and also for being able to farm while still managing to help if a fight happens

After hearing this, I can kind of see why TSM is falling behind in the LCS. League is becoming a sport, and they don't seem to have that mentality. When you start playing the "blame game" after matches, rather than looking over what everyone did right or wrong and making an effort to improve as a team, your team becomes a bunch of bratty all-stars rather than an actual team. Anyone who actually plays competitive sports knows that that's not how you win games.

not really, it takes a decade to stack and you won't be doing that much autoattacking as support taric anyway
if you wanted to make use of your passive you'd be better off buying something like Frozen Heart

And honestly, this iteration of the ult is probably more interesting than it is now. This change gives the ult more flexibility, just use the MS boost to clean up after team fights, or stealth to do some ~mad jukes~ or jump on the ADC.

I rely on it more early game than late. But still, I'll have enemies running away at like 100hp, I ult the person in front of them, they stay untouched in the back.

I just played one of the most aggravating games of my life. It was a normal draft pick, so I thought that it would be a fun match because I'm stupid. I felt like winning, so I actually checked who would counter Ahri, who would be my lane enemy. I locked in Annie and felt that maybe I had a chance at winning if I did everything correctly, got ganks, ward, and overall play smart.
Why would anything ever go as planned? I helped our jungler, Tryndemere, start blue and skipped off to lane. I personally like to have a peaceful time farming early, so I don't usually attack the enemy laner unless provoked. Level 2 rolls around and I start getting ready for Ahri to start hitting me. Eventually she hits me with her charm and I get ganked by the enemy jungler, Hecarim, and try to flash.
I don't know why, I don't know how, but while I'm clicking on my own turret to run to safety and flash, Riot Games thought it would be funny to have me teleport in place instead of the direction I've should've gone. So I died, big whoop I can come back if Trynd wants to help out. I ward the jungle entrances and ping for a gank. Trynd is busy getting buffs, so I decide to take on Ahri 1v1. Nope, jungle horse comes sprinting at me and I die again.
This happened one more time before I hugged my tower like a baby for the remainder of the laning phase. Even while I was doing that, I could see from the wards I put into the bushes that he was literally just walking around mid lane for pretty much the entire time.
We lost after a whole bunch of other shenanigans and deaths. I never once got a gank from Trynd, and our top lane Udyr said that he never got any either so that was cool to hear.
So that's how I came to know Hecarim, the "Literally Right Click and Hit Q" champion.

basically ez went top with a shen support against me, a singed
then ahri wonders why I couldnt 1v1 him after he had 2 kills, double my farm, almost as much exp because jarvan stayed there for a good 4-5 mins to "prevent them from diving me"

Whenever I play Graves and do a full burst hitting everything I do like 200 dmg.
Whenever the enemy does it, they do 999999 damage and instantly gib me before I can even react.
just won a game where we literally had lost all 3 inhibs, and we just held out long enough and let them make stupid plays and came back and won it.

we said come at us
end game, I'm nasus tanking their entire team while being shot at by a turret, killing ez from half hp, all while my sandstorm is raging, fiddles is ulting, yi is alpha striking everyone and lucian and ashe are fucking everyone up
it was a good game
