why the fuck do league players have these random baddie spasms kennen was carrying all game. 1 lost teamfight? "ok fuck this, our mid is a dick and doesn't deserve to win" (i wasnt our mid btw)

Well, I just played my first ranked match. That went a lot better that what I expected. Everyone agreed to pick X roles, everyone cooperated, no cocky morons. I had some pretty bad frame drops early, but I still more or less managed to do things right. Sadly/Luckily the enemy Sona D/C around min 25 and they ended up surrendering at min 31. Atleast I had "Fun". A shame my next matches will probably be a living hell.

I can't play squishy champions at all anymore for the rest of my league career period. I typically lose early game, but I know when and how to engage. If I don't play a champion that can engage, the players on my team that are will say "why did you feed" "we can surrender now" and fall short of capitalizing on the bronze mistakes that the other team is making. I understand that this is normals/bronze and you're just playing to have fun. But pro players win because they never surrender and they know how that teamwork is more than just working as a team. And winning is fun. And I think maining a champion will help. Or at least a role.

Or at least a role.[/QUOTE] your idea of a "good engage" can be very different in the eyes of your teammates there's no point in engaging if your teammates aren't following up, otherwise you're just running in and dying. keep an eye on your allies and use pings

I've had it with this game. There's literally no reason for me to play anymore. I do decent as any champ in almost any situation, but I keep getting stuck as support. I tried playing support as a Bottom Brawler, but people kept going on with the annoying "Supports are Ward-sluts" (an actual quote from my Vayne one game). I tried ranked again to finish my provisionals, but if I'm not support then my team loses bot lane every damn time. I tried ADC once, and my support Naut fed the enemy ADC and we lost. I tried Top lane, and within 20 mins we surrendered to a 10/1/4 Ez. I can't think of a time where I had fun in this game except when I was rofl-stomping the competition into the dirt. None of my friends will duo queue with me, so instead of filling a slot on my team with somebody semi-competent, I keep getting matched with people who start fights single-file line into the enemy team and keep dieing (which I assume makes the matchmaking system think that I'm as bad as they are, and matches me with them again). I'm out. I tried to find a reason to play this game, and all it did was make me not like the game even more. I'm just glad I never had to pay for the game, and that I never wasted money on RP to further influence Riot to keep this game running.

I read that LilyPichu basically went from gold to plat in 2 months. (Think she wrote that in a Youtube comment or something) I thought that if she could do it, I could too. ~2 months later I got plat.

the problem isn't if it's possible to get to a higher tier the problem is if you're willing to swallow the grief of dredging through ranked

I always hop on and say "Hell yeah today is gonna be a good day, gonna play ranked and better myself at a videogame cool!!!" and then I play one game and everyone is insanely mean and bitter so I get like 2 games out of it and stop because fuck this game

As someone who's been down the road of ranked, you have your ups and downs but it gets better. Unless you actually suck.

I guess this is my chance to play ranked then I absolutely adore supporting and I can reliably perform well on every role besides ADCing, which is always taken right next to top, so I'm sure I'll be okay. I can only hope that 2 months to get to at the very least Silver will be good enough. The only thing that brings me down in this game are bad people, so... hopefully I am smiled upon!
