Well, time to take a break from League for a while until this visual lag issue is patched.
There's a thread on the official forums with several hundred pages of posts detailing rubber-banding and stuttering, freezing and disconnecting in spite of decent ping and FPS. It's an outstanding issue that's been around since 2012... There was a RIOT post in the thread... in 2012. He said "I'll tell our network engineer to look into it".
It happens across multiple providers, servers and regions and there's no fix for it currently....
It happens for me in about 50% of my games, making them unplayable, so it's time to leave. Maybe I'll try DotA.
Hello, I've never played LoL. I've got some questions!
Is this p2w? I'm not really looking to spend much money.
Is this fun?
How steep is the learning curve?

It's not from their side, they're fixing it today/tomorrow. Finally found the root of the problem.

I haven't heard them officially addressing this at all.
What's going on? Or could you provide a link?

It is not pay to win, everything you need can be bought with points earned by playing.
Fun? Yeah, I'd definitely say so, but you'll have to try it out for yourself. The first few rounds may not be special or even fun, but if you get into it it can be very addictive.
The learning curve is not that bad, once you play 10-20 rounds or so you will get the hang of it.

Welcome to the club!
It's not a pay to win game, money can be used to unlock champions earlier however. Every week there's a rotation of 10 champions which everyone can access, this generally includes one of every 'type' of champion, so if you want to play a midlane mage every week, there'll be one available. Once you find one you like ,you can purchase them using ingame money.
It's fun once you get the hang of it, and if you enjoy MOBA's or RTS games.
The lurning curve goes beyond level 30, so there's always new stuff to discover and utilise to your advantage.
Just randomly playing normals and there's an enemy mid lee sin with a 4 man premade shit talking some guy that picked jungle
The lee then goes on to show off how he's actually really good and is diamond after towerdiving me, he died and got mad about it, then we fight in their jungle and he and his 4 man premade are destroyed by me and our jax 2v4, he proceeds to spam all chat and call everyone sandniggers, just told him to get a life and blocked him
His name was fT Sade (apparently his smurf to troll people I guess)
Seconds later this guy is mad enough to add me on his main, fT Rain who is only diamond 4 (literally 3 divisions up from me as I'm plat 2), proceeds to spam

and I block him again
Why are there people out there that are this toxic, how can someone be so infuriated that they fucked up a towerdive that they need to just go all out with spamming and adding me on their "high elo main"
Edit: It's actually incredibly funny to imagine this guy rage-quitting out of league, fist hitting the table as he scrambles to log in to his main, cheetos covering the floor as he knocks them to the side hurrying to get back at the evils of this mean plat 2 player that wouldn't die after he dived him, so he can type more about how much of a sandnigger he is!
bitch

It's was on r/leagueoflegends, posted by a Rioter.

Leblanc is such a ridiculous champion, just instagibbing tanks.
Also i found out that a distortion to a mimic distortion into a team can be used like a ranged poke if you get a lot of cd on her, and just teleport back to your original spot, deals like 1k damage late game.
So I assume there's no way to get past victorious skins right? Victorious Janna is one of my favorite skins.
Are you saying Victorious Elise will replace Janna's skin?
They said the previous Victorius skins will be "retained". Not sure what they mean by that. Is this if you arent gold next season, but was previous season? dunno.
I just thought that if you have Victorious Janna, you have it forever and then if you qualify for Victorious Elise then you get her also.
yeah ofc

you hef to play 30% of games
Just finished my second provisional ranked match.
Again everyone agreed to play X roles, and everyone cooperated.
Even though I messed up a few times, everyone said I did a good job. (I was useful c: )
I ended 0/0/23. I didn't contribute too much in damage, but I keept everyone alive (healers are my favorite for a reason.) in ganks and teamfights, warded, etc.
I never had this much fun in normals. I hope this lasts a bit longer.

thanks i was serious :D!

If you keep winning without any major issues it will most likely happen every single game until you lose.

"You will keep winning unless you lose"
I am trying really hard to get better at this game but I am staying in the same fucking league
Are you saying Victorious Elise will replace Janna's skin?
No, I was asking if you could still get it, I don't have it.

Well you're mostly playing with other people in their placement matches if that was your second one. That's how it went for me, everything super awesome until you get placed, then you play with the veterans of that tier and it's hit or miss, just like normals.
Still can't decide if I should try to grind for Gold from my Silver IV...
If you keep winning without any major issues it will most likely happen every single game until you lose.
I can have fun even if I lose if the match is good enough.
I don't like cheap "pubstomp" victories.
Most normals are onesided pubstomps, or "balanced" with 2-3 competent players and 2-3 braindead guys on each side.
It's nice to play matches where everyone is actually trying their best.

battle of the Brits, more at 11.
Here's a tip for people trying to get into higher rank for the s3 ending: I've been playing on a bronze-silver acc of a bit, and it seems that it's not much of a display of skill as it is a grind fest. You just have to churn out game after game. Try your best of course, and if you are skillful at all (i.e. belong in gold+) you will get there in the end. I myself have games that are uncarryable, though that could be because I still suck. Just keep at it and you'll do fine. It's about the long run, not single wins/losses. I think gold+ is carryable by one person, as the playing field is a lot better matched and one player can be the deciding factor.
The way I look at grinding ranked is;
Every game is winnable, but you will not win every game.
