So far 13 games in ranked, the last one was (surprisingly) the first one where someone was shifting blame and acting like a total dickwad for no reason

On another note, I've found myself playing Nocturne on most of the ranked games, anyone got any suggestions for good builds? I like Riot's suggested items (Wriggle's, Statikk Shiv, Ghostblade, Ravenous Hydra for offense,Trinity + Frozen Mallet for defense) but everyone seems to be hating on Wriggle. Is it generally speaking a bad item..? It used to be one of the top cost effective items, but now everyone hates it.
Is there like a facepunch group of people?

my friends was like 100/5/100 every time he played mid/top nocturne in ranked and has a 22% win ratio with him just because hes building damage and not tankiness
you still deal tons of damage with free 55 ad and 80% AS along with a 2 second fear
but isnt the point of nocturne that his Q and W's passive as well as his own passive give him early damage without needing items

Lizard into Hydra into Randiuns is the best way, fucking raetrain everywhere without falling into uselessness after 20 minutes like Shaco
Damage nocturne I believe is better in the long run but not really good early game
You get a free BF at level 3 of the Duskblade or w/e and ms boost to boot
At that point it's better off to go for tanky mixed items and slowly shift your loadout into DMG

golem item or something if my team is a regular team (if its like, zac top, support alistar and some tanky-ish mid i'll get lizard but not often)
if i'm feeling confident, zekes
stick a few hp items in there but dont finish them unless needed

1 or 2 other defensive items OR 1 defensive item and 1 offensive one

So I'm a relatively new player to League, I've played on and off for just over a year but only really started getting into it this last few months. I've got about 300 wins, 70 of which are in 5v5. A friend of mine in Diamond 5 invited me to play a few normal games with him and holy shit it's like a whole new world out there. People were doing all these techniques and tricks I'd never seen before in the normal games I play. I was jungle Kha'Zix in both games, the first one went really well and the second one went really badly. Still, I thought it was amazing how I felt like a retard who'd found himself in a further maths class - while just playing a game!

What we're saying is that we'd rather keep his extremely high early game damage while having a moderate level of tankiness to support that damage. Once a certain level of tankiness is achieved, and maybe even a certain level of snowball for your team, you could trade away your tanky items for damage.
I'm not saying you should fill all 6 slots with NINJA TABI, I'm saying you could get 2 tanky items for the early phase so you're not so weak and then stack infinity edges or whatever. Hell, a tanky item would even constitute of a Vamp scepter because of the HP gains. My build is Lizard Spirit - Berserker - Randuin's - BT - BoTRK - Hydra
I trade away the Lizard if the game lasts too long and I have to get something else, like an IE.
I still go full damage Noct sometimes, but I really do feel like it's a waste early game if you already have so much damage output from your Q
Dude, you obviously dont know how pressing an advantage works. Your logic is saying that Aatrox and Trynd should get tanky items because they have damage from passive abilities, its not how it works for anyone else and why should it be any differnet for Noct. You get damage so that everybody is scared of you and literally get a kill every gank, THEN you go tanky to secure your damage because you have reliable damage. You do realise you're replying on a passive that increase damage on one hit and Q that isnt up 100% of the time and you sometimes miss, right? I am not even saying full damage Noct, like I said go Lizard into Hydra or something then Randiuns but thats TOO MUCH DAMAGE for some people to handle apparently.

The reason you should be going damage early game is because thats when you're going to be actually dishing out damage, if you go tanky and then damage items at lategame then you're going to fall off and be a sustained damage dealer witht he fear and Q and Ult able to pick off the ADC if you're lucky then die, because your trail runs out and you're just soaking damage, but early game you just ult into a lane and you fucking DECIMATE IT

Lost my promo series. First game gragas fed, got mad, and then afked. Second game I carried with Vlad and our midlaner did excellent aswell. Third game our Lee Sin and Kennen were both chinese and couldn't speak any english. After crushing botlane as support with a trist (Had her 4/0 by 8 minutes) they literally threw the game. They both got caught a shit load and kennen for some reason couldn't fucking press R. Venting. So pissed. We had the game but they couldn't fucking speak english so we couldn't tell them to just stay behind and press their fucking R's to win the teamfights.
