If you lose your lane, just abandon it vs fizz because he just dives you, go gank bot or top and then come out ahead in lategame

SMITE has a really good gold system, I think. From what I saw while playing is that you get 30 or 40% of the gold received for killing that creep by simply being around them when they die, but you get 100% if you last hitted it. Yes. As long as you are in XP range of the minion you get a fraction of gold, that includes jungle monsters (There is an item for junglers that lets you earn the full ammount of xp and gold from jungle monsters, even if you don't last hit it.). If a tower/turret hit a minion only once the minion you get nothing, even if you last hit it. There is also an item for supports called "Watcher's Gift" that, when an ally kills a lane minion near you, you also gain the last hit bonus.
There is also an active item (In smite active items are pretty much like LoL's summoner spells, but done right: Instead of having to summoner level to unlock them and being able to pick any for free before the match starts, in smite you can have any active you want, but you have to spend gold on it, and you can upgrade those actives, But you can't sell them back. So no one has the upper hand from the start.) called "Eye of providence" that acts in a similar fashion to sightstone, except there is no wards limit, it has a 60 sec cd, no hp bonus. At rank 3, wards last 3 mins and become truesight wards.

Thats horrible, fizz will zone you atm he hits level 2, until you have enough AP to farm with barrel.
You won't out-trade the fizz if you go in melee range with him
You can either go incredibly early-poke with something like Ryze, Kayle, Lissandra, Pantheon (don't play Ryze he sucks now) and zone him hard enough early-game to gain enough of an advantage to win.
Or a lot of bruisers/assasins out-damage or have the possibility to outplay him
Things like Diana and Akali just straight up deal more damage.
But bruisers like Lee and Riven have a pretty easy time too.

I really wish they implemented it here... It feels really nice to get monies even when you're playing a tank like Ymir. Even if I don't have much kills but lots of assists and close to no CS I was only 2k gold away from our bruiser with 6 kills.

ryze is just AMAZING against other melee champs but idk about going against fizz
like seriously, go ryze top against pretty much anyone and become the king of poke
and if they use their gap closers just laugh as you hit them even more and your snare goes off cd in like half a second
ryze does fairly well against anything he can outrange
which at the moment amounts to like master yi
no but really his poke is very strong but if they jump on you god have mercy on your soul
idk ive added rengar and aatrox to the list of people i've beaten easily at top lane, but i dont think thats much of an accomplishment
those champs just get shit on by anyone who can farm at range or at least cc them
aatrox and rengar are like safer versions of fiora and yi in that it wont take a light breeze to kill them outright (in aatrox's case it takes two)

Do you guys think Riot would be up to implementing something like SMITE's gold handling? It'd help a whole lot in going support/adc lanes rather than just telling my duoq to go double bruiser bot lane.

Last time I played cassiopeia I was against fizz and I could outrange him from lvl 1 with q and I kept on poking him which won me the lane. The fizz was trash though (worse then me rofl) so I have no idea if it works against good players

I doubt it, the jungler could clear all jungle camps and then sit top lane and still get gold out of it, even though the gank failed.
It's a tough problem to fix and there probably won't be a 100% balanced solution by season 4. Perhaps they could give an increased gold gain over time based on how few minions a champion has killed, that would certainly fix Support's gold problem and give him the ability to keep up with the other roles. On the other side it would unbalance the fact that a lane that lost hard and gets denied would just get increased gold gain after a while.
I saw someone on the League forums propose another Unique Passive on Sightstones: "Decreases cost of wards by 25 gold". Making a normal ward only cost 50 gold and a pink 100 gold, which could also solve a small portion of the gold problem but I doubt it's going to be enough though.

Revamping the clairvoyance summoner spell so it lasts longer with a broader area that improves with time would already be a good start in my opinion.

Do you even read my post, the jungler doesn't waste time because he still gets gold if the ally top laner kills minions.
And yes, the increased gold gain over time isn't the best solution like I stated in my post

As long as the overall income from ally creep kills is inferior to the overall income of actually killing creeps yourself then standing in a lane and leeching xp and gold would be suboptimal and no one would do it.
