My friend used to say that Vi sucks and told me not to play her when we're going serious mode. Then yesterday he said that she's completely broken after seeing the Koreans play her every game. What's with the sudden change? I don't remember any balance changes that could really affect her so much. Maybe the triforce changes? He mentioned that when using life steal runes and starting doran's blade you can basically duel any other jungler. Is she really op? I may have to find a new champion if riot nerfs her too hard, which they probably will.

the rest of her kit is also kinda broken
the nerfs hurt, but she is nowhere near unviable

People like your friend sound like someone who read a passing comment that Vi was bad from someone and stuck to it and then changes opinions because someone did good (aka this thread)
Vi didnt get buffed op and dorans start isnt exclusive to vi but she wont get nerfed
