Yeah he is as long as you have a good support to help you take kills early on. He's much more dependent on other players than a lot of other ADCs

i mean you have damage but you also have to MOVE to make the damage hit.... no way thats so hard
i know his ult does damage but you cant aa during it and its easy as fuck to dodge
it would be good if you were able to change the direction of it once within its duration
Cant auto in Ezreal, MF, Varus, Ashe and Dravens ult casts, its not an autoattack replacement :)

Cant change the direction of Ashe Ezreal and MFs ult either, it works how its meant to work, its the same as Mfs ult but you can position yourself accordingly and as is common knowledge for an adc you shouldn't be using it in a teamfight in place of autoattacks that can crit and do more dps
I would think the potential damage is a lot higher than what you could achieve with AAs.
Also 1400 range vs 550. I don't think I need to explain this.
but then again "its easy to dodge" like all skillshots in the game so they're all bad and "you cant autoattack" which is a redundant statement are also good points

theyre all AoE or lockdown (most are global too), lucian's ult is single target damage with no cc
when using it as a chase tool its probably always better to just use W + phage proc and you will have a better result, when using it while escaping you would probably not do much damage to your pursuers anyway so the ult probably tickles them
Yeah except you can easily hit the whole team during lategame when they're jerking off behind a tower and you pop it off to get them low hp + only 2 of the ones i listed had CC and you already mentioned aoe or lockdown so idk if you're trying to make it seem worse by listing the same thing twice or what

i just stated that if you have to run away you probably dont have the damage to kill your chaser with your basic kit, so adequatly you wont have the required dmg with your ult
my main point is that its extremely unreliable with the amount of dashes and escapes in the game, youd have to invest a lot in movement speed to hit most of your bullets
i guess it could be useful for zoning in a teamfight but honestly that shouldnt be the adc task
also while it does considerable damage late game its absolute trash early game, like a reverse mf scaling
all of the ad carries outdamage lucien at level 6 (maybe except for ashe or kogmaw), the power spike is a fucking joke, his rank 1 culling should definitely be buffed

i really wouldn't say that, if you actually make use of your passive to proc it twice you could easily outdamage most champions
but yeah level 1 culling is shit, that's why they're buffing the base damage but lowering the scaling a little

yes his damage from the basic kit is excellent but that stays true from 1 all the way to 5, if it wasnt that damn good he would lose instantly at level 6
