Just tuned back in. What are they stalling for? Did the curse of Rito James start?

what an intense game
[editline]15th September 2013[/editline]
but what i really want to see is a smaller but still strong team against tsm or c9, just to see how they compare
i bet Vi popularity will go up after this, played 2 games in a row so far
now all we need is a talon pick completely wrecking a zed mid in some random game
let me ask you how does the wits end + shiv max w first build work? it sounds so weird but apparently it works wonders
GP is my main about 277 games in ranked, so I can answer most questions about his most different builds. The build with shiv/wits end capitalizes on GP's on-hit effects and makes him extremely tanky at the same time especially since you maxed oranges. We all know GP usually has a shit laning phase since most champs can beat him or do better, but maxing oranges negates that to basically always go even or winning lanes more than usual which gives you a better time mid-late game. GP naturally has strong base stats without much damage items he has like 150+ AD with his E maxed. Against a farm lane like Shen/Singed you should just rush ravenous hydra and they can't really do much and you help your team a lot more than singed staying top with ur globals, and you can go ahead take TP cause you most likely won't kill singed. Most of the basics for GP right there. (ATM currently at 73 points in Plat 1)
ahri is so boring to watch
these faker nukes are insane

how exactly do you play him? like, do you just sit there and farm as much as possible while not at all attempting to force a fight? do you actually fight your laning opponent once you get a couple of early items? and also in what order do you get your items?
[editline]15th September 2013[/editline]
also which items do you get against which top laners
faker op

He didn't really pull any plays that game, his burst did all the work

GP is one of the strongest duelists in the game level 1-2. If you know you can win as soon as the enemy goes for a cs force a fight by auto-attacking and reset your auto with ur Q. You can sometimes make them burn flash if they flash late with your passive 3 stacks + ignite they will still die. Play aggressive when you know you can win and play passive with oranges if you know you can't win a fight. Start Cloth + 5 against most bruisers otherwise dorans shield against people who auto a lot more than using skills. Flask works great too if you need sustain against a lane like Jayce or someone who can harass you a lot. Only start double health regen beads with pots if you go against singed/shen so you can rush tiamat and outpush them.
That I Work At Subway guy must be jizzing himself at the Swain pick
I was when I saw it. Not so much now. At a competitive level it's a lot more obvious what a weird pick he is, it's hard to fit him into a team comp. Unless you build glass cannon (which generally speaking means going tear instead of RoA) you're not really as bursty as other AP mids, so he's meant for prolonged fights which is fine just not when the entire enemy team can jump over walls. He's also slow and has shit mobility, so Ahri was a good pick against him.
Weird that he didn't buy Liandry's though. I guess he went Rabadon to get more sustain out of his ult, Liandry's ticks count as a separate damage source so there's no ult sustain there.
