yeah, thresh's E passive is not as good as draven's Q and his range is awful
he's funny, but he's not really competitive as an adc

when i build jarvan on twisted treeline, i get tiamat first, then last whisper, then upgrade tiamat and get defensive items

The more I play renekton the more tempting it is to buy a tiamat and I always have to tell myself not to do it
I have a question and that is what does Tiamat do that causes a lot of bruiser-type top laners to buy it.

Extra farming/pushing mechanism. Also a bit of AoE damage output for teamfights never hurts either.
They're usually the ones in the middle of multiple enemy dudes, so might aswell hit them all at the same time while you're there.

brutalizer and tiamat are probably the best offensive items on rene
tiamat's expensive as shit though, i'd rather get a bloodthirster. it's really a matter of whether or not i want to use three abilities to clear a wave or two. it's a hilariously irresponsible buy, but i just love buying it.

the fact that you can buy it in two bits is great for that relatively cheap pushing ability
bt may do more damage but really it doesnt give what a top laner like rene wants

Rush sightstone because philo is trash early, wow hp and mana regen that you dont need vs hp that makes or breaks a trade bot
if you have 300/400 more hp its a huge difference
