I can't guarentee you'll get respectable players but usually draft normal is more organized than blind and I haven't seen many people who throw a hissy fit if they're last pick, call mid and first pick takes it

it's based off your mmr, if you had a beast mmr it can take up to 10+ losses in a row in some extreme cases
Well normally after just 2 losses at 0lp people get demoted. We'll see if I get demoted after this loss.
