I feel like Taric should be that kinda counter to full AD teams and should be built around that
Taric is still good, he just gets less useful lategame compared to other supports imo like Sonas ult is a game winner, Thresh has great AoE ult and interrupts with E and Q in a teamfight, Soraka has Q with huge mr shread and heals while Taric is like

yeah it does take a lot of time but its REALLY REALLY strong on taric, and it actually gives you nice lane sustain

top maybe but support no you're incredibly dumb if you're buying those items insteadof a locket and sightstone, the only good thing there is spirit visage because its actually good on him
also "lane sustain" by the time you have 2 of those items there aint no laning going on
The ult only gives 35 AD/AP to allies btw, allies in 500 range which goes away when you're dead it isnt even comparable to the other support ults, might make the difference early but like i said he falls off late

Attack speed and cdr, no damage, no bonus stats. If you need CDR that badly get a blue pot for 250g and if you need attack speed fucking zerkers are better even IF you have boots already because they're cheaper and look rad

it makes up for not having on hit magic damage with crits and flower hands

One thing I think they should be doing a bit more in Worlds is talking more about team comps and why they're so good, or possibly just explaining some more of the basics a little bit because with this being as big as it is, i'm sure there are people watching it who don't have a lot of experience with league, possibly esports in general.

His total damage is more of casting abilities (and all of his abilities do [i]magic[/i] damage). He doesn't get to autoattack much, and as there are no ArPen boots, sorc boots fits him better as an AD caster.

Corki's phosphorus bomb and missile barrage both deal magic damage, and a lot of it, that's why they build sorc boots since he's so ability dependant.
