Jinx patch on NA tonight. Also is it just me or is Riot actually getting worse? Four hours to add in a few files in order to release one champion when a lot of her files are already on the client?

did you play the game 3+ years ago?
took them like 3 times as long and EU also had to wait 1 more day than NA for the patch

I think they are getting better. That whole Jinx video wasn't really necessary, but it was entertaining to watch and adds a whole depth to the characters.

Yeah they were really terrible back then but you can't mention it because they were a small indie company. :^)
For real though, they used to be god awful, then worked their way up to decent/acceptable, and lately have fallen down to bad.

This isn't a patch, this is a hotfix where they add in the login animation/music and final files for the champion. They used to be able to do this in like 5-10 minutes during the day because of how insanely minimal and easy it is.

I must have imagined all those other times, like the last 3-4 champion releases, where they just had a small hotfix patch during the day without any real downtime.
Oh but now that I think of it they're probably doing more than just adding in the final files for Jinx. They're probably also disabling that mode everyone is having fun with. Worth.
Man you should take over their server management, you'd have everything running smoothly and quickly.

Will probably buy the skin/champ bundle because quite frankly a minigun in a violin case and a giant bottle of champagne are two things I can't get past.
It's a neat skin for sure, but I love her default too much to get the bundle. Also I wanna save my RP for the Halloween skins.
