Jesus fucking christ, those nerfs.
trick is a beast lmao
ahri will still be strong, she still has incredible mobility and her charm, this just makes her burst a bit more reliant on landing her charm.
So what are the reasons for nerfing Ahri? I don't really see anything wrong with her. I don't even play League now but i keep lurking here, god fucking damn it.
There is currently a holy trinity in midlane just like we saw with AD Carries in S2, consisting out of Ahri/Fizz/Kassadin. Nobody outclasses them in their current state and are completely ridiculous to play against and hard to shut down. Now some people might think they're fine in their state, but these are mostly the people judging from their personal experience in low elo ranked. People who play these champion competitively as well as in high elo as you can see in streams just show how broken they are. They're also the 3 most banned champions in Diamond 1 right now. [editline]12th October 2013[/editline] Yesterday when I played a game with Froggen, he managed to take half health from a Ryze with only a DFG+W and one ult stack, and the Ryze had full equip, so he basically just chunked 2k health in half a second. You can imagine that Ryze died straight after (also he carried). [editline]12th October 2013[/editline] Relevant
Accidentally pick Janna support after we already had support. Still worked out nicely. I did quite good top lane, except for the farming part. God damn, I lost so much CS early and mid game.

(Anivia) Oh and hue:
I played ad carry vs an Ahri last night oh boy is it fun being 100-0'd by her dfg, w and 1 tick of her ultimate
I love it when the three most played mid laners are all good against my main champion... (Anivia)
No matter if you nerf those 3 they'll always be good against Anivia/Brand type mids so have fun with that
I played ad carry vs an Ahri last night oh boy is it fun being 100-0'd by her dfg, w and 1 tick of her ultimate
wow assassins beat ad carries someone write this down and phone dyrus
When assassins get played in LCS/World then there is probably something wrong with them because they are way to safe. All 3 of them are supposed to be high risk/high reward, but atm the whole problem with them is that they are pretty much risk-less, and lack counter-play both in lane and teamfights.
No matter if you nerf those 3 they'll always be good against Anivia/Brand type mids so have fun with that
I know that, I never even said that they should get nerfed. I am just hopeful that in the future they are played less so I can actually pick Anivia in ranked games, since I don't like to counterpick myself. Even if I pick first and they play one of those three it isn't an instaloss I just have to play differently and come back later in the game for teamfights. (Which Anivia is really good at doing)
I think it should be something like this: Dc within 6 minutes? Have a single vote to lose at 6 minutes. If failed, the game goes on as normal. If yes, then the losing team loses nothing, the enemy team gains half or a third of the usual LP and both parties are happy. No elo gain. That way no elo inflation.
this sounds great i just have to find people willing to leave for me and i never lose elo and win snowballed games, get to diamond with 40 wins and 300 losses easy because only the wins went towards my ranking going to lose a game? just tell some guy how much you hate him and think he should kill himself and you don't lose elo when he leaves, he was going to lose elo anyway so it all works out! :D

My favourite champion is Warmogs and I build 5 Jaxes and a Brand
I miss the days of playing Sunfire Cape with 4 Garens, 1 Gangplank and if you got really fed you could add on a Jax
That's 700 dmg lost assuming her W and R hits 3 seperate people, she only loses about 100 dmg if you hit charm and 200 if you miss.
My favourite champion is Warmogs and I build 5 Jaxes and a Brand
My favorite champion is Warmogs too, but I just rush a Fizz. Cold taught me this legit build 100% game winner
That's 700 dmg lost assuming her W and R hits 3 seperate people, she only loses about 100 dmg if you hit charm and 200 if you miss.
The 700 damage change is full build Ahri compared to current full build ahri though, you always lose 100 damage on ult and even hitting a charm makes you lose 50-150 damage, did you fully read the OP? You cant hit single target late game unless someone has awful positioning
Emotionally draining, 50 minute ranked game: 75IP 13 minutes of Dominion: 55IP meh
I think they should've just nerfed her early game because its no fun when someone like Fizz and Ahri hit 6 and flat out 100 - 0 you, but removing damage lategame when people barely survive that shit is going to be really annoying
I figured with the Charm change that they would try and make it so she does slightly more burst than before with the Charm damage increase but significantly less damage without it. If she does less damage overall even with the Charm damage increase then what's the point?
She does less damage even with charm because Q deals only one source of magic damage, it wont be increased on both hits and W deals less damage per hit on the same target and ults bases got lowered. So lower damage no matter what.
I figured with the Charm change that they would try and make it so she does slightly more burst than before with the Charm damage increase but significantly less damage without it. If she does less damage overall even with the Charm damage increase then what's the point?
The point is that it's a nerf? They feel she does too much damage while also not having to hit her charm. So they're moving more damage onto her charm with the amp damage and they are also lowering her overall damage even when you do hit a charm.
Yes I understand this, why are both you and louis trying to explain the changes to me, I understand them, they just don't make sense to me. Adding the damage amplification doesn't make sense if she's going to end up still doing less damage than now with it. The damage she has now is fine, the only problem is that it's easy to obtain, just DFG and W+R. But lowering the bases and then putting a damage amp on E that essentially buffs the bases back to where they are now or maybe even better would make much more sense to me than just doing an overall nerf to her damage.
The damage is fine, its just too easy to obtain? The damage isnt fine then is it? If you can get enough damage to kill someone in one item then doesnt that tell you that somethings wrong? [editline]12th October 2013[/editline] Adding a damage amp spell allows them to nerf everything else a lot more than they would, yet still allowing her to do damage to reward decent players with being able to do good damage without shitters being rewarded for just pressing R W in the general direction of the enemy.
Makes sense to me. Riot thinks the following two things: Ahri does too much damage too easily Ahri does too much damage So they are fixing both of these problems at once. I'm not seeing where the confusing part is.
