I lost the count of how many times I got screwed by my teammates because their brains couldn't understand how Thresh worked, even after I explained him in detail. (They either Don't use my lamp, use it at the wrong time/impulsively use it as soon as i drop it, kill the jungle monsters facing the middle of the map while we are there, ruining my chances of escape, hooking/flaying people and having my team stand still and let them escape.)
finally gotten used to PvP instead of just spending all my time in bot games, turns out I do better playing as support or as Teemo 'cause filling an entire lane with high powdered mushrooms is just fun
just finished this game and it was rather close due to the fact that Ezreal decided that instead of finishing the game he was going to hit the nexus to low hp then taunt the other team, getting himself killed before hitting it one last time, all this while jax was destroying the mid tower and inhib

So Fraps is giving me lag ingame when recording, but my FPS is staying at 55ish-60ish. There's a definite drop in frames but it doesn't report it. Any ideas?

That has nothing to do with it, the guide assumes that everyone reading it isnt braindead, all of the good solo picks mentioned are right.
Is anyone else getting random PvP.net disconnects in champion select on EUW?
Happened twice to me already in a ranked lobby, the lobby just doesn't update the picks for me and all of a sudden I dodge because I didn't pick a champion, thus losing LP.
my internet is perfectly fine I can just watch streams when im in champ select so thats not the issue

He's one of those champions that only go in fights and won't leave until they or the enemy drops. No escape whatsoever on his kit, except a potential flash that you may as well keep to extend the range of your hook. Ward a lot.
If playing a draft/ranked game, avoid picking him with characters with too much escape potential or a lot of poke because your lack of mobility will be the end of you.
Only use your ult when you have 5 stacks of passive to maximize damage and ensure refresh. Always try to land your hook regardless when the grace period is about to expire so you can maximize damage because not killing your opponent won't change the CD whatsoever.
In lane, use your Q to harass your opponent (remember to keep away for maximum damage). If the opponent isn't really responsive and keeps harassing despite you shaving 200 hp from his life every time you press Q then level your hook at lvl 2 and get a kill. Also bonus passive armor penetration is pretty fucking sweet.
Ignite + Passive = one of the best fucking DoT damage in the game. If you can get a red buff and a frozen mallet with a phage your enemy will never be able to run as long as you can keep hitting him with your W.

Keep trying, I got from Silver 3 to Gold V in 5 days, but honestly Gold V sucks dick lol. Just gonna wait for the mmr reset, then hopefully most of the elo-boosted players are gonna be gone.
