I play a lot of both gayren/renekton and in my opinion I think that garen would win most of the time if both of the players are about the same level of skill. The silence usually doesn't block off the stun unless they have literally the worlds worst reaction time, but you can usually get your W+Spin off for some good harass and be on your way and usually win a trade if you don't act like an idiot. Renekton does have the advantage of his ult counteracting garens though.
Pretty evenly matched all around though, really depends a lot on the skill of both players, as always, I guess.

When you are a leader and you are filling a team, you still need to wait for a support.
This doesn't change anything about the fact that there are less support players then players who play other roles.
Good thing I enjoy playing support

Noob question- How do I know if a spell does magic or physical damage? Do all spells that use AD do physical damage, and all spells that do AP do magic damage? How about champions like Ezreal, which use both AD and AP?
It says in the ability description if its magic or physical
sometimes it's not very intuitive, either, so there's really no rule of thumb

anyway general rule of thumb is that if its AD (red) scaling then it's physical and blue green whatever is magik

Mainly just being experienced at the game.
If you get killed and are not sure if the majority of the damage was physical or magic, you can always open the Death Recap. It shows you which ability did how much damage and the damage type (phys/magic), so you know to focus on Armor or Magic Resist.

Adding to this.
Sometimes it states "mixed damage", which is both magical an physical at the same time. (Teemo's poison AA's, Kog's AA modifier.)

Nor does the cooldown last anywhere near as long and it does damage and lets you jump over walls

Going through the newer pbe notes I like the Lee buff its sorta cool, didnt think it was needed but I wont complain.
