got into plat 3 promos again
lost two games, both games our ad/botlane in general fed while I won lane both times and despite that, I am completely unable to do shit vs an adc with 10 kills and a competent team to keep me away from them
Is it really that hard to think "oh i died maybe I shouldn't try fighting them 50 times while im behind" for people even in fucking platinum or what
my dream of making it to diamond from bronze V in one season wont come true as I seem to be forever stuck here in IV

This thing so fucking much, there's a difference between fully committing with your teammate and accidently dying because you miscalculated and your teammate just rushing someone with a noticeable lead and crying because you didn't go to die with him.

Platinum is the worst elo you could possibly be at
Maybe it's better off for you to just sit there, you'll only frustrate yourself because Platinum is a sort of Bronze
Not that I know what I'm talking about cuz I'm Silver, but all my high elo friends tell me about how shitty platinum is and about how damn lucky they are to finally have reached Diamond

but how do I get past platinum if I do my best every game yet keep going between 70lp and promos, yet never advancing?

goes in 1v4 and you stand a bit away going back so you wont die, "OMG Y ARE U NOT HELPING??? report"
So this was my first PvP match (yay Spanish, i wish i knew how to change language)

Exactly what my buddies suffered. They were trapped in there for over a month and a half in Plat 1 before they finally managed to get out of there. I'm not even sure how they managed to duoqueue out of it with how consistently awful their teammates were.
You might have better luck if you can find a friend that is good and that can jungle, so that you may go top/mid and carry from there with someone like Jax. That's how they did it.
Of course they haven't played the game in a very long time, and they only pop up to do one match everytime the decay notice pops up because it was "literally the worst shit I have ever experienced"
I miss playing with them ;_;

People also tend to overrate themselves, and when you say 'managed to get out of there', unless you keep winning and somehow keep losing your promos then all it means is you have improved.

That's what happened to them. They went on these complete rampages until they reached their promos and suddenly lost pretty much every game. They were getting matched with high diamonds at that point.
I'm not sure if they improved or got worse, because it was quite a toll on them to get hyped up and then suddenly demoralized until their win streak picked up again.

My starting was different, lot's of people took ignite when jungling because "It can be used on champions too"
You can imagine the wacky wonders of a WW igniting blue to kill it faster
