On the levels of a usual midlaner no, like flashcat says garen has no scalings on ult, deals perfectly fine damage without buying it and relies on fucking destroying his laner to snowball like riven and such, common midlaners can easily get away since Garen projects SO MUCH on what he's going to do since he has no range [editline]22nd October 2013[/editline] You can make almost anything work, and Garen would work like I said against Kha or Zed but even then those laners can roam and gank much better than Garen and come back from the lead, when you decimate someone top their game is over.

yeah thats true, i was talking about melee opponents tho (kass in particular) because garen's telegraphs become more difficult to read to when the enemy melee goes for a last hit and garen has fine roaming, if your bot or top has at least one form of cc you wreck their face [sp]garin mid sucks anyway[/sp]
